Guys, the current character specific threads for DOA5 are a complete mess. It is frustratingly difficult to find combos for a character. In most cases the combos aren't even posted up in the first post and you have to read through 20+ pages of back and forth banter before you get to the combos, only to find out all those combos are pre-patch. Also the combos are all over the place. For example one combo will be listed on page 10 and then another on page 16, etc. It makes it extremely difficult to find combos for characters in this game.
So I was hoping that for DOA5 ULTIMATE we could at least try to keep the character specific threads organized. For example have a thread for discussing things and have a separate thread for combo listings. Also all combos should be listed in the first post. So it will have to be constantly monitored and updated accordingly. And don't give the threads wacky names. Call the thread the "combo" or "juggle" or "top 10 moves" thread so that people can know where to find what they are looking for. Also be clear about what you are posting. Have separate sections for combos, juggles, top 10 moves, strings, BnB's (bread & butter combos), natural combos, combos on counter hit only, crushes, punishes, pokes, wall combos, combos that only work on certain weight classes, etc. etc. And provide any notes on anything that might need it.
Go take a look at the Tekken community website www.tekkenzaibatsu.com and look at the character specific threads for Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Their stuff is nice and organized and you can easily find what you are looking for because of that. Also the fact that they keep the relevant stuff in the first post of each thread means that you don't have to read through 50+ pages just to find what you are looking for. If the character specific threads for DOA5 ULTIMATE here on these forums could be that organized then that would make things so much easier for all of us.
So for DOA5 ULTIMATE once you create a character specific thread for stuff like combos please do your best to keep the first post as up to date as possible. If other people post up combos then please update your first post with the added combos if you are the one who created the thread in the first place.
