You're right, it doesn't need to be, but it definitely wouldnt hurt. Ive always envied a good Helena player who could seamlessly switch stances, and I was just hoping more characters could do the same.it doesn't need to be...DOA has evolved like VF has, characters have individuality in their movesets, more so in 5 then past iterations. DOA never really had issues with clones much(aside from Alpha) so that was never a issue. however I believe this is going to turn into one of those Stances/more moves = depth discussion...and I would avoid that.
And I certainly don't want to start an argument, I was just curious to what dogg considered to be a stance, when, in my eyes, less than half the doa4 cast had one. Again, not saying that I think all chars should have one, but it certainly does add an extra layer of fun learning a character with stances.
