This looks AWESOME. They're using the same art style as the Ninja Gaiden series (which always had a mature look compared to past anime-looking'ish DOA's).

Footage looks great, but looks can be deceiving. Right now I'm cautiously optimistic.

I'm also going to need to figure out where I'm going to find the time to play all of these games in 2012. It's shaping up to be a very hot year for fighting games.

I can see one major Gameplay addition. When Hayabusa is hit into the Dangerzone, not only do he bounce off ala Doa1 style, it activates the crane. The crane in the video knock down a couple of pillars, changing how the environment is interacted.

Agreed! It looks so much better!

In addition of using a more dark atmosphere, the character models are updated as well as the use of self shadowing and sweat falling off of the characters.

My thoughts exactly! I also like the new visuals that the character have. Hayate kinda looks like he just come out of Dynasty Warriors but in a good way.
