All right so we all no combo challenges are hard right.......
Well Christie's Power Launch combo is the 2nd trickiest one..... the game never tells you that in order to connect specific attacks, you need to dash first... but with Christie's 9K its the exact opposite... you need to free step backwards so that when she leaps forward, her toes connect to the dummy at the earliest possible moment.
I think this the only Combo Challenge where I have to move backwards.... usually I have to do a mad dash forward.
And don't even get me started with Sarah..... you have to run past underneath the dummy to complete her Power Launcher Combo....
Game is Crazy.

@Force_of_Nature I WISH I could utilize Christie even with just a fraction as you have on here:

The two white haired woman in my life are sexy and deadly as hell in the right hands: Ivy from Soul Calibur and Christie.

It's all good. Ugh, I made so many slip-ups in this set but they were fun matches nonetheless (always weird rewatching past matches from a "spectator perspective"). Christie can get blown up so easily if she makes a misstep . Kwiggles makes her look so easy lol. In the future I'll breakdown what I was doing in these matches.

Also I LOVE how Team Ninja Studios is always posting tournament matches, update alerts and conversing with the fans via Twitter. Project Soul Devs of Soul Calibur series are HORRIBLE on Twitter. They can learn from Team Ninja.

I hope you do come around to making it - I for one would gladly appreciate it. SIDENOTE: I've noticed character breakdown videos do not exist for any of the DOA5LR cast. Sad.

Beautiful game, I hope more of the top/ and or/ knowledgeable players, with the ability to do so, can start pumping out good quality character breakdowns for the entire cast. I think it can help community wise with the wooing in of new blood.

Regarding @Awesmic yea, I saw his Christie in one of the tournaments I was watching. He was a HUGE proponent actually in my decision of choosing her as my main (and of course her snake style) but the way he was flowing with her.... was symphony. Every note, just flowed. I immediately knew right then and there, ok, this is how snake style should be represented in this game. The brother is nasty with her.

My issue right now is remembering the combos I learned in the Combo Challenge when playing against the AI or online they vanish. Lol. More muscle memory practice I suppose. Also, the game mechanics being new to me throw me off. There's lots of grabs and stun states here. I know in time it will sink. In the meantime, man it sucks being a Noob. Hopefully some of my Soul Calibur knowledge will transfer over.

QUESTION:
The title: "Last Round" does that mean there will be no more DOA games in the future? (Or is it just a title to coincide with the story)

Last Round just means it's the last iteration of DOA5, much like Third Strike was for SF3, Ultra SF4 was for SF4, Final Tuned was for VF4, Final Showdown for VF5, and so on.

I haven't started yet lol. I've been working on my next guide along with prepping for a big tourney. I will indeed inform you about the break down vid! Feel free to add whatever you feel is necessary to it.
