    After a long session in the lab I discovered some disgusting guaranteed setups, frametraps, and mixups with Akira. Jesus this dude is beast.

    Yeah. It was tough to hold the critical burst. Not especially comfortable with the Hitomi/Akira match up though, so I'm looking forward to some more practice.

    For references to other Akira players, TechRisingX and Neo Mp come to mind. TechRisingX mains Hitomi but he uses Akira some too. And Neo is my training buddy who also mains Akira. I still consider myself the best Akira right now but I'd recommend them as well, you won't find many other Akiras around.

    I'd prefer to train with the best. Besides, the best Hitomi and best Akira proved pretty fun/evenly matched last night. :)

    :/ I read it. It's nothing I haven't heard about Hayate. He's said most of this already. I guess I just hate not being able to keep the pressure on like he can. Personal problem though and sides, it'll be tough to deal with all of these S-Tier competitors. I hope he gets at least his ok 1k strings back and 4H+K.

    He has some of the most Godlike stungame setups and starters of the whole cast, but it's still the stun game regardless. His guaranteed setups are few and only semi-effective and he's playing DOA4 the other 80% of the time. Nevermind his other flaws.

    Quoting the words of Rikuto when we played some VF5FS some time ago: "just mash through the lag". I don't think that would work on VF, but... Nah, seriously. I'm on the same boat. I can't play when I totally miss the simplest juggles due to lag. No matter how early I press the buttons to "adapt" to it, I still miss them. Waiting for the patch is the healthiest thing I could do for my mental sanity.

    That feel when you fight a linear Mila player and lose because lag stopped your mid punch hold from coming out. DOA5 online top tier.

    Set your options to "Region: Same" if you haven't already. You'll get twice as many matches as you did before twice as fast.
