    That's great. I'll basically be doing the same. Working on some FT's. Combos, Frames, etc. Need to adapt to the changes, and get around the nerfs.

    I tried almost all my FT combos from 5 on U and none of them worked. Either there is a new mechanic we will have to learn or they removed FT juggles all together.

    I don't think FT juggles are removed.. It wouldn't make any sense to have them in 5 and just Remove them in 5U. Or, I could be wrong, I don't really know.

    Ah don't worry about it it was my first major tournament xD so was expecting some awesome competition! I never played a Akira before so I was very confused for the most part on how to vo about fighting you xD. Unfortunately I only have PS3 version :(

    For DOA5U, I'm going to main Akira still, but Leon and Bayman will be my 2nd and 3rd. Who knew I'd branch out to more characters?

    Leon and Bayman? They are similar in my opinion. You should ditch one and learn another character. It will give you an advantage of another play style ya' know?

    I've always known that my glaring weakness is defense and counter attack decision making. Since Bayman and Leon both rely on defense, it helps me focus on that. Then I can use that for Akira and I'm a more well rounded player.

    Though I get compliments on it for whatever reason, I've always seen defense as my weakness. Considering Ein is a much more defensive/keepout oriented character than Akira and Hayate. Playing as him again should help be tighten up.

    After taking a beating this weekend, I really learned a lot. If you want to get better, you need to attend offline events. Don't be afraid

    Oh yeah. No one is a douche in person. Of note. Anyone who has played repoman online might think he is an ass. In person, he's quiet, polite, and a good person. I think the community as a whole would be a lot more friendly if they came out to events.

    I won't be making it to my first tournament for a while. Is there any tips you could give me so I can practice beforehand? If online practice isn't enough is there certain players I could fight to get practice?

    Please find out if Akira's punch followup on 16F+P can be blocked now... I don't care about a single other change he's gotten as much as I care about that one.

I'm trying to make a combo video exhibition product featuring players and their respective characters showcasing moves. At the moment i'm trying to get that Team Ninja Logo with the sound effects for an intro.

    Yeah, I have DOA5+, but it isn't the same. I've actually been coming up with some cool combo options. One of my new fav midweight combos starts off the 6P+K GB. 6P+K, P, G, 6P4P, G, 33P, P, 43P, 2P, 3H+K, P+K. I'm actually going to start toying around with 3H+K, P+K as a bounce launcher and see what kind of combos I can do off of that.

    Another awesome GB combo is, 6P+K, P, P+K+G, P, P+K+G, 66P+K. Stupid quick and will always get the response, wtf?!?!?

    I got a match in tonight where I think I threw out like 7 or 8 GBoDs. Needless to say, Akira Matches Vol 4. is on the horizon.
