    Well, about the second scenario don't worry: TN assured that DoA5LR is the last version of the DoA5 series and that they have the purpose to support it for long time (very likely more than 1 year as happened for DoA5 and Doa5U), just because will pass many time before the sequel.

    It's not a case that in the 2015 Battle Royale manifest you can read as the ultimate winner is supposed to get part even to the final of 2016.

    About the first scenario... the game can't die just if there are people that pick up it and continue to play with it. So continue to support the game and you will contribute to its "survival" ;)

    The term comes from the older games when the input was required for free stepping. Later for free canceling your strings mid string.

    She's a mix between beginner and intermediate. Like Leifang and Bayman, Marie Rose also has expert holds.

    Not a lot, she has a stance, sabakis, advanced holds, an exclusive sidestep and requires a lot of hits for a normal combo. She's not Phase-4 but she's definitely not a beginner character.

    Indeed I have @ColonelColver . I like Rachel's grabs, Tina's all-American beat down style and Momiji's beauty and fire. Hmmm... Honestly, Momiji looks hard to use and as much as I love using hard-to-use characters, I feel like Honoka was enough lol. So it really dwindles down to Tina and Rachel... Ahh...

    Momiji is actually very easy to play. Beginner-friendly too. If you're interested in picking up her, I know some players who will answer your questions.

    I believe that Hitomi, Momiji and Rachel are the most beginner friendly female characters.

    I don't remember my record of win streak, but I believe something around 20.

    Anyway playing continually in Rank against an user, I lost so much times that I led him to a 50 win streak (of which at least his last 30 victories were against me! LOL)

    Honestly, I am getting really mad at losing to mashers when I take the time out to learn the game and they do not.

    Remember that the game is based on momentum. Even a mashing individual can get momentum with ease, and that's enough to kill you.

    You aren't breaking most command throws like in other games, so blocking is something you use when you have to use it, but not something you want to rely on for prolonged periods.

    Give yourself space to counter and side step when possible, remember holds are your best friend against a masher

    Thank you all for the tips. I will surely keep all of this in mind. I had already thought about most of it just never applied it because it is easy to get stuck in habits. But I can change that.
