DOAWorld is mainly about casual discussions: What you like, what you don't like, favorite stages, etc. News, tournaments and events are posted there very frequently, as well as some strategy topics (even though very few people contribute to the topics >.>). It's a pretty fun place though, just not really active unless something big is going on.

昨年11月頃・・・○ァミ○XBOX360にて「ＤＯＡ４」コミック化の
コンペティションが始まりました。
上の絵はその際に出したモノです。
以前公開したのは、その内の１つになりますね。
（久し振りにアクションモノ描いたんで、絵が微妙でスミマセン・・・）

見事自分がコンペに合格し、今年の３月頃より連載予定のはずだったんですが・・・
またしても大人の事情・・・・・・・・・いえ違います。
大人の事情というよりは、「時期が過ぎちゃったから・・・」という
ゲーム会社の子供の様に○○○な言い分で連載企画は打ち切られてしまいました。
意味わかりませんです・・・。

個人的には「ＤＯＡ」関連のゲームは全部持っている・・・
という１ファンでもありますし、
しかもこのゲームのコミック化は１度もされていないという理由もあり、
その漫画が描ける事にスゴク意気込んでいたんですけどね・・・。
出版社も老舗ですし、こちらの雑誌も毎週毎月購入していただけに、
スゴク残念な結果に終わってしまいました・・・。
（５の時にでもまた企画が立ち上がってくれればいいんですが・・・）



ちなみに自分は１の頃から「ザック」と「ゲンフー」を使っています。
たまに「ティナ」も使うかなぁ。

以外と自分、対戦格闘ゲームで女性キャラ使わないんですよね。
一応女性のマイキャラは「ヴァンパイア」シリーズの「モリガン」と
「ファイティングバイパーズ」の「グレイス」くらい。
後は「バーチャファイター」シリーズで今でもたまにサラ使うくらいかな。
（２からリオンがマイキャラに変更）
そういえば以前は「初代侍スピリッツ」で「ナコルル」を少し使ってましたね。
（それ以降はずっと覇王丸）

以前は対戦格闘ゲームも相当売れた時期があったんだけど、
最近はホント下火になってしまいました・・・。
ジャンルとして落ち着いた・・・という見方もあるんだけど、正直微妙。
でもオイラは対戦格闘ゲームファンの１人として、今後も買い続けると思います。
とりあえず、スト４と鉄拳６、ソウルキャリバー４に今は期待かな？
（ＤＯＡもそうだけど、バーチャも続編出るんだろうか・・・）

The gist of it is that there was a comic contest that happened where there was a chance to get it turned into a serialized comic. But, for...reasons that ended up not happening and the window of opportunity passed. It was really a shame as the publisher would have been a really well-known one.

It said that the comic would've included Zack and Gen Fu. Tina would also make an appearance. In addition, this person had been working on comics with characters like Morrigan from Darkstalkers, Grace from Fighting Vipers, as well as Sarah from VF. Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown is also mentioned. It then talks about how the release of FGs (at that time) had cooled down slightly and the speaker was hoping for more.

I think, the DOA community got only what it deserves. You were all crying, "cheating!" and "unfair!" and "popularity vote!" with the Facebook voting of last contest, even though many decent costumes eventually won, by designers from around the world and even for the male characters. Now you get boobs and ass, only by Japanese designers and only for the girls and you are again complaining?
And for the record, this time it was actually easier to cheat the way to the top, but no one ever knows, because the vote was done behind closed doors.

Tbh I didn't even know that there was only going to be 10 winners. I assumed the most voted costume for each character would get in for Halloween costumes this year.... buuuut guess that was too much to wish for >_>

Makes me wonder if these costumes are just for a contest- or if they will actually be costumes. It would be pretty unfair if only 10 people got Halloween costumes. Either way, my favourite Nyotengu design got top 10! quite happy with that~

Also loose hair Sarah is promising.
