me too but i still hope for more ''çreative'' characters though honoka is just so dumb actually in the begin i was hyped but now i realise how cheap and un original she is i'll buy her but thats mainly for the titles and for having all the characters

I think everyone should AT LEAST vow to make that camo skirt her "main" outfit and never pick the schoolgirl getup, so shes SLIGHTLY less generic.

I like her, and I plan to main her. That's why I voted for her!

I like her default to be honest lol but I'll be purchasing her debut pack so that'll add more to her selection. But out of her default costumes, I like her uniform, the camo skirt and the cow overalls lol! so I'll be switching it up between them. Or most likely hitting that random costume select.

you shouldn't drop nyo because nyo isa great character and there arent much nyo players i replaced nyo for phase but thats because im more a ninja player

nyo isn't really my type of character. She is fun to use but i don't myself getting anywhere with here. Same goes for marie rose, i tried to main them both didn't work out.

I mostly kasumi player, been this way since the beginning.


@Argentus honestly the cameo looking is the best outfit for thus far, but i don't mind her school girl outfit even though its generic.

I am hyped for both characters, especially Honoka as she is a cute moe girl with anupbeat personality. Also she reminds me of Athena for some reason lol.

Also excited for the stages, hope we get more after release as well.

I find it weird how people are bashing Honoka for being "bland and unoriginal", but aren't saying that to Raidou. Is he really any better? Is being a moe teen girl really any more or less a generic archetype then being a fired up loudmouth beefed up dude who screams for power? Not to mention both of them copy other characters and both have mainly bland designs with extras to their designs that make up for it (Honoka's skull hairpiece and glove and Raidou cyborg stuff).

But both are still likeable and have their cool and appealing aspects, and nothing is wrong with that. Lets not hate ya'll

I think Raidou's cyborg stuff is a lot more unique than Honoka's skull hairpiece and glove.

But we did get a new character though whether she copied other characters movs or not.

They also hype the male character and Raidou is another copy character and no one complained about him. Also if Honoka's bio is cringeworthy, then Raidou's is just plain bulls***, "He was once dead but was revived by Donovan" yeah exactly. And Raidou is no more original then Honoka is.

My point is that none of the 2 are any more or less generic then the other, so to bash one and not the other is pretty messed up.

Original Raidou, though, yeah, was just a straight Akuma clone, visually. RoboRaidou, though? Not at all.

My point is that none of the 2 are any more or less generic then the other, so to bash one and not the other is pretty messed up.

Trust me I was disappointed when I found out that Raidou was picked over Genra as the "revived male fighter" b/c of the fact that he was a copycat. But in his case many of his moves are the ones that he had in Dimensions (i.e. copied moves from other fighters in Dimensions). Because 5 has significantly updated all of the fighters going from DOAD --> LR this now makes his dimensions moveset somewhat more unique.

This may be the case with Salad as well once DOA6 rolls around and the characters she copied moves from are once again updated.
