^ I'm still surprised how they made it in the game consider how people seem to take culture appropriation very seriously.

Funnily enough, it were non-Scots, that complained back then, when the contest was running. I believe, Scots are a civilized, fairly modern people, who wouldn't swing their war-axe over a fictional character wearing a fictional kilt. It's really a non-issue...
The real issue were some men, that apparently felt emasculated just looking at another man in a "skirt". It's not really the designs fault, for them being so insecure about themselves though...

Exactly I'm Scots and I love the kilt costume ha. All those guys complaining were probably thinking it was manservice.

Everybody has different glitches in DOA5LR. Like I can't download Ayane's Hot Summer Costume; despite the new patch.

We now have 13 original babes in DOA. The last original one being Honoka. Phase does not count.
Anyway, there is a tale stating that in our world, there are 13 kitsune with special powers. I wanted to pay a tribute to that myth with our delicious 13 goddesses. This is a black and white gallery.

May I ask why Helena isn't the Kitsune of Music? She's an opera singer to begin with so I think it fits her more rather than the ocean.

She is the Goddess of Water, of dolphins, and the big sister of Kokoro, the Kitsune of River. Makes sense to me. Helena is associated with the element of water, as her fighting style reminds me of a windmill. In her DOAD poster, she had water effects around her hands. Her seashell bikini reminds me of a mermaid.

Lisa is the black chick who likes rhythms. She likes to dance. She's music to me.

I agree with this. Also, Helena's DOA3 end was on a boat and spends a good amount of time in DOA5 story mode on the ocean. Lisa's fighting style is also closely tied to music as well. I think these were good choices.
