The fishnet tank in general looks like a graphic shirt design of someone else's abs wearing fishnets.

Well, Eliot's textures are not much better... Which did disappoint me, to be honest. Other costumes have beautifully realized textures though. For example Tina and Bass, as one can see above.

It was a nice touch, that Team Ninja gave Eliot different versions of underwear. Shows, that Team Ninja has some self-deprecating sense of humor. Another nice touch is, that TN put my initials M and P on Eliot's heels.

A while ago I promised you guys (in another thread) some comparison shots of Last Round on current generation consoles and on last generation consoles. So, let's have a look at how they hold up to each other. The first screen of each set is from PS4 LR and the second screen of each set is from Xbox360 LR. I resized the PS4 Screens to 720p for a better and fairer comparison. To best compare them, open each image in a new tab in your internet browser and then click back and forth.

Depending on what algorithm you used to shrink the images down for the PS4, it may not be completely fair, but there is very obvious improvement.

Depending on what algorithm you used to shrink the images down for the PS4, it may not be completely fair, but there is very obvious improvement.

Well, fairer than blowing up the 720p shots to 1080p anyway. Making a picture smaller doesn't nearly damage the IQ as much.

Whats very interesting to see in the shots: The textures of LR PS4 are in most cases not of better quality, but actually of worse quality (the large logo on the floor of the Fighting Entertainment stage being an exception). They have less contrast and are blurrier than the LR Xbox360 textures. The soft skin feature also robs the skin of contrast and definition. The claim, that the muscles of male characters look better now, is actually false (best seen on Jann Lee and Bass). Higher resolution (hence less visible aliasing) and better self-shadowing are an obvious improvement though.
So, in the end, I guess it comes down to taste, if the look of PS4/Xbone or PS3/Xbox360 suits one better.
