Like Koda said, it would seem pretty impossible/unfitting and pretty bland if she were to use real systema as oppose to her own cool twist.
Her fighting style is quite uniqye compared to the other DOA characters and she is very fun to play as.

I don't think anyone is disagreeing that she has a fun fighting style, just that classifying it as "systema" is definitely a stretch. XD

Jacky, Momiji and Marie are similar in that sense. They aren't very faithful to how their fighting style should look like traditionally so their fighting style feels somewhat like a slapped-on label.

You can definitely see systema in her throws and holds (which is basically all systema is lol) there isnt really a proper stance or technique, its just a martial art that uses the opponents momentum to put them in submissions.

a lot of KoF characters would fit in well adapted into DOA, and I can see the DOA cast working in KoF as 2d sprites. neither transitions would be a straight copy of their original form, obviously, which is the main complaint I'm getting here, even though I personally don't feel that's a valid gripe. I already explained how the KoF cast could be adapted, and 2d fighters are whatever, so turning DOA cast into KoF style 2d fighters would be easy.

I just call it the Nextbox instead. much easier and catchier name, in my opinion. (I still refer to the first xbox as Xbox 1, so I can't call the new one an Xbox One. wworst marketing decision ever)
I thought it was short for "Captain Commando" the company's original mascot.
