But honestly, I think Rachel is better replacement, she just needs better tools to make her an even better character. She's still a heavy hitter, but she's one of those characters that have such a limit set of tools, it makes it hard to use her effectively. Not saying that it can't be done, because I've seen it be done, it's just she needs some more tweaks. ETA: Not to mention, Rachel is smoking hot. Nicole was just a rip-off of Master Chief since they couldn't get the real deal and her costumes were all just recolors of her uniform.
It's not so much about the moveset, so much as the character itself. I liked Nicole as a character. II preferred Leon for straight gameplay. Rachel can.get a better moveset, but shell still be lame ass Rachel. I want badass cocky Nicole.

It's very likely that the mask wasn't a personal part of Genra's wardrobe, rather something that all the members of the Hajinmon clan own (or at least the leader and the one fated to get its role in the future).
Knowing it, the mask that Donovan show in the end of Dimensions not necessarily mean that he is Genra, just that he could have interactions with the Hajinmon clan (maybe he could be a runaway shinobi from the clan? Would be nice to see a previous ninja that created a new life and identity in the "modern" world)
