Still want rainy sakura, it would look so pretty. Could have random puddles around the stage with petals sitting on top of them and the gloomy lighting would amplify the colors of the pink flowers, green grass, and purply-blue cloth as well as the red exterior of the temple in the distance. Fighters could start out at 25% wetness like they just got there. I don't think this will ever become a reality so whatever maybe I'll just draw a picture of it.

2) Ayanes hair color is natural.

They need to pull from Gallop Racer and have a horse be a fighter. There could be a jockey on its back shrieking throughout the fight. If Tekken can have bears, DoA can have horses.

Rio - and the game she originated from, Super Black Jack - is technically a Tecmo product

Tecmo's slot machine games are where she originated from unless she came from another game before that.

Yeah didn't really realize how popular the character was until I heard about her cameo appearance in DOAP. She is at first just the casino dealer in the game but you can unlock her as a playable character and she seems to fit in with the rest of the girls...

I wouldn't mind Rio. But, I'd prefer Irene over her slightly just due to relevancy and not trying to shoehorn a third universe into the game (even though she is Tecmo). Her popularity cannot be denied, however.

Sure we can add all these characters but what would their fighting style be? Correct me if I'm wrong but I've only seen Irene use guns. Rio, idk Casino and beach volleyball player... no idea how she would fight.

If I was able to choose the new character I'd pick a guy who looks similar to this (minus the arrow XD):

Who's fighting style is similar to Bob from Tekken. Sort of a freestyle karate.

Irene is a CIA agent, they pretty much need to learn basic takedown moves and such and her learning a style for maximum effect isn't really unheard of to begin with. Rio is more of a different story and she's most definitely will be unorthodox.

Yeah you're right. Honestly I was surprised when the first time ever hearing about the DOA franchise stared Ryu vs a Spartan. Around the time I finished Sigma for the PS3, so I thought Ryu was mainly a weapons guy and never really thought about his Izunas and other throws being incorporated into a fighting game.

haha, yeah she's good as she is but in string grabs like Kokoro's are incorporated so smoothly and seamlessly that it minimally disrupts the flow of combat. I just thought it could make fighting more fun with new options
