Needed? ._. It's like they toned Kasumi down in exchange for much higher damage. What I'm liking about her is that she's more challenging to use and winning a fight with her feels good.

TBH, my impressions of Phase 4 so far are that she is what Kasumi should have been from the start.

It's not quite that simple and there are multiple reasons for why I feel that way, but so far, that's the gist of it.

So obviously, I'm so far pretty happy with her. Kasumi has never really been my speed so I won't be maining P4 or anything like that, but she's pretty legit. It's just a shame that she rolled around when she did, so that we now have 3 fucking Kasumis, which is 2 too many.

Phase 4 is a pretty cool take on Kasumi. But Kasumi is the main character, and most main characters (Akira being the exception) are usually the easy to pick up, easy to use characters in fighting games. Phase 4 like a happy medium for Kasumi players. She's a bit more execution heavy than Kasumi and weaker than Alpha-152, but she doesn't have the draw backs of Alpha-152 and her teleport game seems stronger than Kasumi's.

Lol kasumi isn't that easy, there are still easier characters to use then her and her teleports require some finesse. She's just considered easy cause you can mash with her.

So, I just wanted to point out. I noticed something sounded a bit odd about Phase 4's English voice during matches, so I decided to check it out. As far as I can tell, at least a few of her, like, attack voice things are literally just Kasumi's, downpitched slightly. Haven't checked her Japanese voice, though.

Yes, Phase 4 has the same voice actresses, just at a lower pitch. Not to mention, Phase 4 looks a bit younger than Kasumi and she always has her hair down.

Kasumi's "teleport game" is far superior to Phase 4's due to her parry capabilities. The sheer number of teleports you do per combo doesn't mean shit other than from an aesthetic point of view.

Phase 4's damage is stronger than Kasumi's.
