From re-watching the reveal trailer, Gigas seems to be the replacement for the powerhouse characters like Marduk, Jack-6, and the Bears. Interesting.

I'm really not going to enjoy him since he has a mixture of ancient ogre, marduk and certain bears attacks.

Haha, that's exactly what I was thinking when he was revealed! But if Gigas being included means no Marduk or Bears, I'm cool with him.

I'm still not entirely sure what the big deal was about Lucky Chloe in the first place... Hell, she is damn near tame compared to more than a few of the other characters that existed within the series.
Gigas seems to be a residential "big" character for the time being. I wonder what his move set was actually consist of...
