Team NINJA Social Media Updates for DOA6

Why are they making this so complicated?

It's because they know people will eat it up. Literally seen people on Twitter who face plants it like: "Thank you for fixing it <3, it's ok I can pay for this because it's permanent and would buy it all again! :) - Sincerely, the real fans of DOA!"

Quite amusing to see how incredibly easy it is to be gullible for the game with the amount of cringe in smiley insertions and heart overuse like it's the greatest thing close to an orgasm because obviously, DOA is in good hands.

-Drum roll- Sike, you thought it was in good hands. The hype for most of the bits have been heavily exaggerated so it is what it is, but they can come back from this. I like surprises so maybe they could with 6 itself.. and if they can I will gladly take back everything I said, but until then... DOA6 (least in opinion on this one) simply isn't the answer. They gotta come back from this in a new installment or some massive overhaul in 6 itself which is skeptical to say the least on the latter option. I only become optimistic if they shown previous results and hard known facts that they performed well. Which they have not. So always assume the worse because it has happened before, and has happened again in present time.

But seriously, give the DOA franchise to another publisher who actually is willing to put money and budget for it, KT is holding the series back on it's potential. Otherwise feel free to rely on miracles and lucky shots again to be actually proud of it.

This game has been nothing but controversies, I swear!

First the pre-release censorship arguments. Then the core values debacle. Then the game launching without lobbies. Then PC players’ games practically breaking on them. Then the recycled dlc not being part of the already $90 season passes. Then Hairgate. Now this lame attempt to fix Hairgate. And I definitely missed some other stuff inbetween. No game should be this problematic!!!

Of course, I’m still going to play the game as long as people are still online but I’m making my DLC boycott permanent now until they show some actual effort regarding DOA moving forward. I thought they would have been able to turn things around with the hair fix but this (and almost everything about DOA6 as a whole) proves that they don’t know or care about how to make their playerbase happy anymore.

Like mentioned before, can't make the game grow up if KT doesn't grow up. DOA deserves better and if KT isn't going to fix that then who will.

DOA needs a better publisher like Rikuto mentioned. And well, I agree. But hey i'm chillen lel, waiting when DOA starts to be represented well.

I don't understand why they are having a problem making the hair colors for free. Just give people 2 options:
#1. Make players work for them (unlocking them by spending 50k or 100k coins)
#2. Spend tickets to get them if players don't feel like grinding (It seems like KT refused to have them available for free).

I played a few games doing something like this.

At the end of the day they're gonna charge for whatever they can, as long as they make this change im ok with it. I hope after April tho they start getting their act together since most of the replies and comments they get under their posts is mostly negative and they can't possibly ignore it anymore xD

I maybe would've changed a few hair colors if I could use in-game currency. Or maybe they could at least have Street Fighter 5 "Fight Money" style missions that could net you a few tickets now and then. It'd bring some good will to the game, maybe.

The funny thing is that how they first implemented it was soooooo bad that it makes what they're doing now seem almost reasonable. That's part of the trap.

Hahahahaha alright, KT. Thanks for nothing.
I saw this coming from a mile away that they would barely try to "fix'" their joke of microtransactions. I fully expected a pathetic attempt at improving hair color and here it is. This is literally them spitting in our face while asking us to pay them for doing so.
I confirm I'm glad I stopped at DoA5 and didn't buy DoA6. The franchise is dead to me. Time to move on.

Once again, KT continues to disappoint.

The update barely fixes anything and we’ll just be met with more excuses for their shady tactics and needless micro transactions. And there’s still no excuse for hair color changes not being purchasable through in-game currency. We can only hope that, from this moment on, they don’t stoop any lower than they have recently.

I think the 'fix' confirms that many players were buying the colors anyway and that KT doesn't want new customers that aren't willing to 'support' the game, so at this point bad (DOA 6) PR doesn't matter. It's good to know.

^ Comments like this are exactly why KT gets away with what they're doing. People bending down for anything and everything with no questions asked.
Not really xD just because I'm not trash talking them and posting negative stuff under their posts doesn't mean I don't have any issues with them. They're not gonna make the hair colors free as long as there's money to be made from it so I think it's kinda pointless at this point to keep wishing it was free when they aren't gonna make it free.

Hey you stop right there. Only nice things that are talked about are allowed for DOA6, we call the shots here. There is absolutely nothing wrong with DOA6, you should be ashamed Bokuho. You are so vile and cruel to DOA6, clearly you are a hater to the 5th power. Always so negative pfft lol, you obviously want to put the game down for no reason with no logic behind it.

Also shoutouts to Rikuto, thumbs up man. He calls it how it is.

Paying actual money to change hair colors per hair style isn’t really fair when anyone can open up Tekken, Soul Calibur, VF, etc. and do the exact same thing for free? I mean I know they have to make money (they’re a business first and foremost) but it’s what they’re making money off of that’s the problem.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not being cheap since I wouldn’t have had a problem if, for a ticket each, we could buy and keep individual colors to use on any hairstyle (for example, if I buy red, I can use red on ANY hair style and keep that color forever). Or, if they sold a pack of all the permanent colors for like 10 bucks i would have gladly bought that. This change is just making a preexisting scam slightly less of a scam... but it’s still a scam nonetheless.

In theory, there’s money to be made off anything... they could charge us a dollar for pressing start at the title screen like we’re at an actual arcade. We could have had to pay money for frame data (lol). The list goes on! While they might not make the hair colors free, all the negative backlash from both inside and outside the community might push them to make wiser decisions in the future. To them, silence means consent.

Idc about what DB has to say tbh but Rikuto I understand and agree with, I never said nice things are the only thing allowed to be said about DOA6 which is what DB needs to realize before he spouts things I've never said from my mouth like how he made that one tweet I tweeted about him even tho he was the furthest thing from my mind when I made the tweet. Silence doesn't mean consent imo, if anything I was helping show the issue with the hair color thing back when it dropped with what I posted, I wasn't happy with how it was handled either. But I'm not gonna make rude tweets towards TN either, I tweeted what they could do to fix it respectfully.

And I understand other games offer color changes for free, I've seen people tweet that like a million times, but tn isn't gonna make anything free that they can't make money from, that's why they charged for hair color changes because they thought we'd feed into it which we didn't do and now they're changing it because the news articles and the community have basically not accepted it. They're gonna make the change to make sure hair color changes are more fair but it's a dream to ask them to make it free. Like I was saying tho, just because I don't say anything doesn't mean i like the moves they're making, like how me not wanting to talk or acknowledge someone I dislike doesn't mean I'm accepting what they're saying about me, it just means I'm not feeding into what they're doing.

Conclusion that also ironically applies there:

But yeah anyways, waiting to see how they would adjust to all this to make DOA great again. Otherwise, give the game to another publisher:

I keep my bank account fat because I don't fall for stupid shit like this. Rikuto and Destruction Bomb are both right. If we are respectful we get fucked up the butt for it.

This is the Tweet people want to destroy with comments. I don't care if DOA6 dies and gets buried at this point. Attack this tweet for the next couple days with all of your might. Vow not to buy this stupid shit.

Stop lining the people at KT's pockets. When all fails for them and they don't see sales they will do one of the following (not just the hair):

- Bury DOA6 because they don't care about the community commitment

- Threaten if there will be another one like they did before DOA6 came out

Remember when they threatened PC players that PC will never happen again if nude mods came in? LOL I want to see this side of them come out next.

The CEO has already said us Westerners don't pay enough money.

Damn guys y'all really going all in lol. It's so fucking annoying they'll still not give a fuck about any of us, as this whole year the game's been out has demonstrated us. At this point I don't even know if we can do anything to make the devs change their ways of dealing with this game and its updates... I feel so fucking furious they had to ruin my fav FG franchise like this. EVERY single "fix" they come up with is even worse than their original mistake. I seriously want to know WHO tf is in charge of these decisions and want them fucking out of the team, cause at this rate, next thing they're gonna charge us for is pressing the start button as if it was an arcade like @SaihateDYNAMO said.

When is the enabling going to stop? In DOA 5 when there were copy and paste costumes, there were excuses for that. When the female characters were getting the only costumes, there were excuses for that. When people joked about having towels and pajamas for DLC, there was also a group of people arguing that would never happen...then it did, then all of a sudden it was ok because, "the towels looked high quality OMG!!!". And now because of all of this enabling for 9+ years, we're at this point where buying different hair colors is considered ok. Not only that, but the game as a whole wasn't even polished on release, and there were STILL excuses. Like, I just don't get it, what is it going to take to figure out KT is playing us like suckers and don't have ANY respect for the DOA fanbase? Can people not restrain themselves and not buy overpriced stuff for JUST a couple of months?
