Since nobody is talking about it you can buy Mai and Kula seperately and their costumes seperately
Whelp. They did an outstanding job on Mai like I thought they would. Shame Kula's moveset looks jank. She looks about how I expected. Like she's going to be gigantic pain in the butt to deal with. Also DLC characters are getting story chapters?.... Well now they HAVE to bring Leon, Rachel, and Momiji back. Cement them in the DOA mythos please.

Not gonna lie, my willingness to fork over $16 for Mai and Kula is pretty nil.
I wouldn't if I hadn't screwed up and already given them the season pass like a sucker.

I don't want to get my hopes to high but this is at least a good sign that potentially going forward they will make the dlc's individually available. Hope so anyway.
Personally as someone who hasn't played for a while after the problems at launch diminishing my urge to play, ( It's doa though so I was still a fan of the game obviously and following everything and it's dlc etc ) Mai and Kula have actually successfully got my interest in playing it again and buying both of them.
I know the launch was marred with issues and was far from perfect but I do have faith/hope that moving forward they are going to with patches/dlc/expansions continue to add and make doa6 better and better.

Based on discussions on discord and details from TN there is separate Mai, Kula, and each of their costumes as DLC. No sign of them splitting up other costume sets outside of xbox.

They look so good ... materials and textures are amazing in comparison with several DOA characters costumes.
They only thing I can complain is Kula's hair color shouldn't be so dark.
Good they went for a black obi this time. The white one looked really bland and boring. The costume needed more contrast.

She really doesn’t lmao.
Her hair color is fine imo, it looks better that way than it does in KOFXIV with that nasty baby blue. Thank god in KOFAS they went with a color similar to the one TN picked for her appearance in DOA cause this shade looks so much better...
