Team NINJA Social Media Updates for DOA6

Wasn't that to be expected? As if they would go down with DLC prices, lol.
I wonder what single costume prices are now, 3 or even 4 bucks?

I was sure they would adjust the prices, even slightly.

But ye can forget supporting dlc at these prices (done it once, and by once I mean the whole damn doa5 era)

I never bought any of the season passes of DOA5, the prices were already ridiculously high, I only bought single characters and single DLC costumes that I liked. If the character and costume prices go higher I will just buy less characters and costumes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have no doubt in my mind though that there will still be lots of fans that will throw thousands of dollars/euros at Team Ninja over the lifetime of DOA6.

I'm surprised they have to ask. Then why was Momiji included in the DOAX series?
I know it's a different game but c'mon, the licensing can't be that difficult can it?
I mean they got Mai back in again.

More costumes is inevitable, but hopefully we don't consistently get fetish dlc.
They also have to ask for Hayabusa being integrated into a new DOA, lol. But to answer your question, TN already asked KT for permission to integrate Momiji and Rachel into the DOAX series, but since the DOAX3 cast was based on popularity votes, Rachel wasn’t integrated while Momiji was. Long story short, they already had the permission for Momiji and Rachel to be in DOAX3. I’m sure they already asked KT for permission to add Momiji and Rachel and got approval. Momiji and Rachel will probably be added after Mai and the other guest.

They've done it again, greedy bastards

srsly 90$ for a season pass, MORE THAN THE DELUXE GAME...
I’m surprised by the fact that you’re actually surprised, lol. The price is a lot, but if you compare it to other games with seasonpasses you actually do get a lot of content for what you’re paying.

Nyotengu is $3.99 the same price characters were when you bought them separately in DOA5U/LR. It seems the prices of the DLC costumes and characters are the same as in DOA5LR, which isn’t too bad.

$90 season pass??? I was considering getting it for $40 and maybe even $60, which is already pushing it, but $90? Imagine selling a season pass for more than the game itself. From a pure value standpoint, they are trying to sell 2 characters and 3 costume sets for $90 while the base game is 26 characters with an average of 4 costumes each (w/recolors) for $60. Laughable.

Yeah I was going to buy it for 60$ maybe even 70$, but 90$ (It'll eventually be 90€ on steam, because well EU sucks balls).

Guess I'll just handpick what I want this time as well (stopped buying season passes on DOA5LR after 2nd season pass or something sigh).
(also... I'm sure there will be a way to get the season pass exclusive stuff by alternative measures on PC lol).

I want to to support TN, but they are making it very hard...
*take my money gif* but not like this.

Well, the problem is that the packaging looks bad… the pricing for the individual items is OKish with $1.99 per costume and ~$5 per char compared to other FGs and if you add all this up the price for the pass seams “reasonable”. But well… you are still paying more than the price of the full game.

They either should have made separate passes (like a longer running 4 char pass for $30 and a costume pass for $50) or reduce the costume price to $1 and sell the pass for $50. At least, in the beginning, the user base should be large enough to generate enough revenue that way.

Obviously, the value proposition is always bad… Smash Fighter pass is $24, but it's 5 chars while the $60 game had 74… but TN managed to make it look as bad as they possibly could.

I'm only buying this Pass to support the company and after that? Most likely I won't do anymore unless they add in more value to the Season Pass or they give me a real reason to buy the Pass.

You may not be wrong about that, but I still find $90 to be a bit ridiculous, all things considered. It doesn't help when you have people outside using to further whine about "look how much DLC in the Season Pass cost? They doing it again" even though most of it is going to be costumes and accessories you don't need to buy... again.
I mean I don't give a shit how people will endlessly complain like they have to buy the Season Passes for Dead or Alive(seriously when people try to use how much the DLC in general is for DOA as a negative against it, despite it only being costumes you don't need to buy, it gets dumb extremely quickly), but they could have done better in lowering the price to atleast $60

I would never buy a season pass anyways. They are a sham regardless of the company.

Not all season passes are bad. The ones you have to look out for are the general ones with no information to the future content of that particular season pass. I only get season passes if I know exactly what comes within it.

Spider-man, Batman etc. tells you what comes within a season pass such as episodes and so on. Some of DOA tells you what's coming while some of them adds a "???" within it and part of the package.

The missions in those season passes are like 30 minutes to an hour each. Spider-man for example those dlc missions were blatantly removed from the main game. How you gonna setup a story with catwoman and then halt it to buy dlc? Pass.

That’s why it’s better to wait with buying the seasonpasses when every content has been shown. Personally I don’t care, since I like surprises but I can understand why people dislike seeing ??? Instead of what it is.

Did y'all forget that DOA5LRs Season passes were also $90+ each?
This isn't surprising. I do remember that after almost a year some of them dropped to about $60 on a sale but still yes ridiculous pricing.
I wouldn't be surprised if there's an exclusive costume you can only get from the pass (haven't kept up with the news)
I wouldn't buy any of it unless you know what exactly is in it.
I'm more interested on who's buying it.

Big time fans. If VF6 released and charged the exact same amount for each season pass I'd buy every one of them full price no questions asked.
