DOA6 Tamaki Revealed for Dead or Alive 6

The new Venus Vacation character for Dead or Alive 6 has been revealed to be Tamaki today during a developer stream for DOAX:VV. This is interesting news for the community whether you are a fan of the volleyball game or not considering players could be introduced to a completely new fighting style or a returning move set mapped to this new character. A commentary for the reveal stream is available at Free Step Dodge's YouTube, but with no gameplay to be shown there was very little to talk about outside of Tamaki being invited to Dead or Alive 6.

1.20 has launched with much controversy surrounding the infinite micro-transaction loop of changing the color of your character's hair-style, so a solid reveal of this character may not fix every salty heart, but it could be a step in the right direction for gameplay - especially if this character is wrapped in a brilliant update that is even bigger than 1.19. Even though there was no gameplay shown today we watched the stream anyway and will remain dedicated to the communities time regardless of the treacherous waters we must cross to get our news & updates.

 

I've never played a DOAX game but like any good DOA fan I keep up with it, especially since ( eventhough they said that the girls wouldn't crossover) we all knew that this was gonna happen.

I've always thought that the first character was going to be Kanna and I still think so, but i do hope its Tamaki. Out of all the girls she is my favorite overall design and personality. Although she does make me a bit worried cause she is basically a refined female version of Brad personality wise, somewhat of a drunk lesbian. I hope she is no clone, first it wouldn't fit her as she is more refined and i dont picture her charging like a torpedo headfirst to the opponent (that would be hilarious though). And what if they pull a Nyotengu in future games Nooooooo!

 

Alright we are trying this again live. First time, but I think the kinks are being worked out. I hope this is worth it.

This stream is just a sad reminder of how DMM treats their DOA license better than TN treats DOA as their own IP.

She looks cool! I'm glad they picked her from the pool of XVV girls. Wondering what her fighting style will be.

 

While it still annoys me thar a VV girl came to 6 after they said they wouldn't, I was thinking of what possible fighting style they will give her and randomly thought she could be Leon's replacement . I would be totally OK with her if that was the case.

 

They definitely could have gone with a worse VV pick, I can say that much for sure.

Tbh, I noticed, but I didnt say anything because I didn't want to start anything stupid, lol. I'm no expert on Tamaki but after they focused on her behind so much in the teaser trailer, it's obvious. But, its inevitable if you're going from DoAXVV to DoA6, you're gonna get downgraded. I don't know why, but you are.

 

The DOA6 models are slimmer than DOA5's which btw DOAX3 and DOAXVV uses 5s base model just sayin'... ofcourse its gonna look smaller not to mention that DOAX's models are better endowed in certain areas than the FGs are. Ayane and Leifang in DOAX are waaaaay bigger in DOAX3 than in DOA5 or 6.

 

She really was the character I most wanted from DOAXVV and a few days ago I was so hyped!

But, with the recent hairy announcement...
Noticing how skinny-boring her body is...
Not seeing any gameplay from her...

Lol. Though isn't he wrong about her being a model? Or is she that as well as a designer? I forget honestly lol.

 

He’s not fully wrong. Tamaki used to be a swimsuit model, but now she is a fashion designer. I hope that swimsuit is not her default costume because that would be quite bad.
