thats what im unsure of; i will test it in a few mins and get back to u
ok so if u create a new offline profile; take that save data and put it on a different profile (the one i put it on was a random online profile) it says data has been modifier etc cant use it. But you're saying u can copy the entire user profile? Where can i do that at? oops nvm found out how to do it; testing...gonna take a bit; it says it needs 40gb of memory for profile xfers, and my external is the wrong format, reformatting
Well it seems that you cant copy a profile itself, but rather the entire hdd of the ps3, and when u try to restore that onto a different ps3, it will delete everything on it.
So I think the only possible solution to this; is to have a globally shared psn id for offline tournaments and someone would have to beat the game under that id, then save it to a flash drive; bring it to said tournament, make a new profile with that same psn id, then copy the data over. I'm not sure if theres any limitations to the number of ps3s that can have that psn account (i know there is a limitation(2) to how many systems can be "activated" for an account; which just means they can get the DLC, but this isn't the same as just being able to log into the account).
