True, but Pink is her favorite color, that's also why you find it in most of her outfit including her C2, which is nearly as iconic as her C1.
I think this newbie try to steal the spotlight a bit too hard for a salad.
(to say the truth, i'm disappointed she didn't get a "cow" or "salad" themed outfit.)

I meant just it, Kasumi's favourite color is pink but this is an info originated with DoAX: Kasumi started to get outfits including pink only with the games released after it (so DoA2U, DoA4, DoAX2 and DoA5 series), but in all the past games before you never saw this color in her vestiary, being prominent only in her DoA2 C2 (that as you said is an iconic outfit and maybe even more than her classic blue one being actually the evolution of her DoA1 C1) and in her DoA1 bunny outfit. It's this the reason because having known the character in the early games of the series, I can't really see her tied to the pink color while I can do it for Honoka when the color of her hairs was one of the first things showned of her (anyway so far she got only the cheerleader outfit pink).

But of course it's also true that for someone knowing the Kasumi character later, it would be easy to think about "the pink" as something part of the character's identity. Exactly as people complaining about the change of character's personalities, something that happens overall because they are used to their old iterations, but that of course would happen in a lesser measure (or with opposite reactions) in someone that become a fan of the series with DoA5 and started to be fond of the characters in their current versions.

But like always I'm just creating an huge off topic XD

I never truly played DOA before 5. so... I was a Tekken and SSB fan at first, then virtual fighter, and then DOA5. I played the past DOA game after discovering DOA5, to see why some of the fans complained about what I could call the best FG I ever played ^^(couldn't play any other fighter after DOA5, and I still think this is the best DOA)
But yeah totally off-topics.

I wonder what her place will be in tier. She might be too versatile to be an S or A rank, but I can clearly see that she will be a pain to deal with. I think her stronger point will be her unpredictability. Mixed stance and combo will be a pain to read...

Ayane has a fireball !!!!! she used it to kill Kasumi (allegedly) in DOA2. Remember the cutscene after their battle on the snow stage. never usable in the game but she was saying some type of spell then shot out a purple beam. But no need for the story lets talk about Ms. Salad and this frame data http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/doa5/ultimate/arcade/img/chara/pdf/honoka.pdf she will definitely be a force i9 jab !! peep the damage on the holds and the throws !!! and i cant translate which stance is which, but there is a mid punch mid kick mix up for all of them, foolish of me to assume otherwise. She will be worth the learning curve

I don't believe so. The only place we've seen them is the thumbnail at the end of her combo trailer.

I agree with everything you just said... except the cheerleader comment >_> I actually think they made the right choice giving her a baby pink cheerleader costume. Goes well with her hair. Much like how Ayane got purple... whilst having purple hair. It looks cooler when it matches lol =P
