They don't own Mai m8, she is always SNK ownership, they probably licensed her out to Street fighter or rather Capcom. Same way they licensed mai to Koei Tecmo/Team Ninja for dead or alive. Personally I think SNK should let Koei Tecmo and whomever they license her out to have something like infinite time for that game at least, and any new game to renew more license, that way it keeps everyone happy especially the gamers.

This means chances are it's SNK's fault that koei tecmo removed her from dead or alive 5LR as they could have said keep her infinitely on THAT game only, but any new games you have to renew the license. Time limit should be unlimited if I had God powers, I would change SNK's idiology with how they license characters out. Then again with the amount of money Koei Tecmo make, they could renew for another 6 years no problem, it would be a small sacrifice for future gamers investment in their games.

Cause right now I'm boycotting SNK, Koei Tecmo, Team Ninja. and Capcom. lol and really so should you all, without boycott there's no change in how we receive our games.

lol not me, not my agenda I just support people like OP and others who start movements against these practices. What we need are people with conviction and resolve.

Lorenzo Buti and Grummz, Melonie Mac, Lauren Chen, Vara Dark, Doctor Disaster and anyone else who's against censorship, pushed woke idiologies, towards censoring games, via any means of censoring, and basically making our games look ugly.​

This is why it's important to bring Mai back, without that our doa5LR game feels censored, the cpu controls mai, but you will never control her, DLC's are lost forever the ones they removed, you will never use those dlc if you missed it, if you couldn't afford it and was waiting to afford it but you missed out? See now point in removing them. If you can't get an infinite license for that game, why bother releasing content that will be removed?​


If a game is digital only, and they remove DLC or characters from that game, who's to say they won't erase your game data from re-downloading dlc or game content? There should be new laws and rules to stop game companies taking content you've already paid for at the very least. This could change in the future, would you believe game companies have the right in terms and conditions to take away your digital content? Not sure if they have done this yet, but apparently it's legal for Sony to do it. Of course they would shoot themselves in the foot if they did.

It's all about the principle m8, do you want ugly fat women in power, to censor your entertainment, take characters and DLC's away? Just an eg.

I actually had no time to play dead or alive 5LR when I got around to playing I saw Mai but then i saw the prices of her and some DLC items, I added up the total and realised I couldn't afford it yet, thinking she would always be on the DLC shop, so I saved money and low and behold,, they removed the content. I saw the DLC about a year before it went offline, I just didn't know they would remove her, I didn't know she existed for 5 years. I didn't have the money that was my only crime.
