Hello people in this thread lol! I just wanted to update you guys with the costume I am designing. It's gonna be the first thing that I do when all the mod hooplah is sorted out. Again, it's gonna be a long time before I even start modding but I need to type this down before I forget.
My first outfit will be for Helena (surprise! lol).
I will just give some bullet points. Let me know what you guys think. I'm not guaranteeing that I will change anything tho lol!
Helena's "Caipirinha" Costume
- Undershirt: White Decollete Neckline
- Blouse: Draped Semi-Sheer Chiffon blouse. Long sleeved, Round Neckline.
- Blouse Color: Celadon
This is what Celadon looks like (notice its silvery secondary hues)
Trousers: White, Pleated, with Gold Buttons - Waistline will be structured.
Accessories: White Pearl Necklace & Matching Pearl Earrings. White Pearl Bracelet on Left Hand.
Shoes: Celadon Colored Kitten Heels (with a small bow and a white pearl in center of the bow.) Matches Blouse.
I will recolor all 3 of Helena's hairstyle meshes platinum blond. I may also layer the hair and part it differently so that there will be no clipping with the loose-fitting chiffon (translucent computer generated texture).
My first outfit will be for Helena (surprise! lol).

Hell, lets give Ryu a Yaiba outfit as well.
I have no time to invest in modding, unfortunately, but I will absolutely try some out. I'm interested in the following:

Seriously though, a costume that simply incorporates the True Dragon Sword would be awesome. Blade of the Archfiend strapped to his back would also be kinda cool.

This is just an idea but perhaps some of us can ask Team Ninja if they would like to be included in the mod scene - many other companies have done this - by giving us tools. They've been pretty vocal about not wanting nude mods and I think maybe they might feel better if they have a sense of control or something. I might be waaay off but perhaps they could provide us with stuff like a simple recolor editor or ya know something to say "Here you are, be good!" LOL

I think it would be cool if someone took the time to create an accessory tool. For example, a program that references in-game character models and allows players to choose different accessories for their character. (Hats, glasses, hair, nails). Being able to change the color of these would be awesome too
