FWIW I'm pretty sure Katana Engine is the DOA6 upgraded DW9 engine but a more updated and refined version of that. It isn't exclusive to Team Ninja either Gust and Omega Force have been using it in all their recent games Gust as early as Atelier Ryza 2 and Blue Reflection 2

Also managed to track down a decent PSN card seller and got 500HK$ for £51 and pre-ordered Prism
gonna go with Tamaki day 1 I think

Hopefully, getting DOA's worst entry ever shall not be in vain and TN will both fix all these aspects before release and not make it a bigger embarrassment and use this as an experiment for their upcoming games running under their Katana Engine.

Katana engine is a Nioh 2 engine, but it has been upgraded and optimized for Prism.

Why would any engine be exclusive to Team NINJA that is manned by Koei Tecmo? Of course other KT properties are going to use it.

Random Venus Vacation complaint but I had to say it somewhere:

TN, PLEASE make pose card more specific, I want to buy all of Tamaki's pose cards for Yukino but it's hard to do since not only are the pose card pics barely of use to see who's who, but they don't even use names in a chunk of them for who they're meant for. And the color rose thing at the side doesn't help since damn near every girl seems to have a blue rose thing so it makes buying them hit or miss xD

The organization of all items is a big problem with DOAX because it was never intended to be as big, hard, enormous and successful as it is today.

When you get even deeper into the game you won’t be happy about skill awakening because you will likely have a mountain of SSRs.

The poses are also indeed a problem a lot of them look like a bicep flex similar to the one Leifang did in older titles, but actually are not.

The way DOAX2 did organization was my favorite overall.

I also wish they'd add a feature too to equip heel sandals or the wedge ones like in Xtreme 2 and like how some earlier swimsuits had them in DOA5. It's a big reason I seldom use the SR and R and N rarity swimsuits since I HATE bare feet, never liked them since DOA5U tbh, it takes away from the cunt/full look of the look when the girl isn't just wearing no sandals or ugly flat ones with an otherwise great swimsuit xD

They've got bios up for all the girls in Prism. Too bad they STILL don't list a nationality for them, though (I mean, not that it really matters, since Misaki, Tamaki, Honoka, and Nanami are confirmed to be Japanese, Honoka from the mainline series, Misaki and Tamaki when they reappeared in Scarlet and DOA6, respectively, and Nanami's indirectly confirmed via Misaki, but I was really hoping to learn Fiona and Elise's nationalities at least, especially when unlike those four, where even without the nationality section, you can pretty much guess from their names and also their allusion to Japanese stuff that they're Japanese, Fiona and Elise are obviously meant to be foreign, and while there are hints, we don't have any official information on WHERE they hail from, and Wikis demand explicit confirmation, not hints.).

I always just assumed Elise could be German since she likes Stollen which is a German dish and that Fiona is French since she apparently hails from a European country and she likes fondant which is French for to melt that comes from the French term Fondre.

It may not be much to go off of but I think noting the girls' liked and loved items is a good indicator to know what their nationality is since they typically like items that are popular or that hail from specific places. The only girls I don't think that applies much to are girls like Ayane and Kasumi since they like stuff that's not necessarily Japanese but then again they already are known to be Japanese in origin.

Fiona's a Princess, though, and France hasn't been monarchistic for quite a while (1789 definitely did a blow, and while it did come back, it eventually lost its monarchism by the time of the late 19th century, early 20th century and hasn't made an appearance since). Elise definitely has some stuff pointing to Germany, but unfortunately, not much, certainly not enough for Wikia to actually consider any evidence other than explicit, no matter how obvious the evidence is.

Even so, I'd say she's a curiosity for me like Manon from Street Fighter 6. I know she's not my type, but I gotta respect the hustle put in her design.

You guys think we'll get a new Yukino hairstyle for her birthday? I love her default bleached wavy ponytail but really want to let her hair down xD if they do give her a loose hair option, hopefully it's about waist length or longer since I feel the devs have been quite stingy when it comes to giving the girls with tied hair inches when they have loose options

Got Yukino's Wild Wind SSR, I think the game knows I like her since I literally got it 3 times in a row which made it easy to max awaken xD
