DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Ultimate ARCADE - Nyotengu

First discovered by @pachincko this seems likely to be our new Tengu shown in Famitsu. More details are bound to show up incredibly soon and we will keep this updated. She looks pretty, and I hope that Tengu fans will be impressed by the final package, because Tengu fans have waited a long time for this.

Yeah. The only way the additional 9Ps ever did anything was to intimidate opponents into blocking low who may have expected the normal throw instead, allowing you to low grab. Even then, it sucked because any player with half a brain would just jab you out of it.

Unlike Ein though at least female Tengu wardrobe will have potential with future DLC outfits because she fulfills the requirement of being a female I.E a marketable subject. MR already received several and it seems P4 is starting to get more costumes now. Female Tengu will be taken care of in terms of costumes.

If the latest dlc pack is anything to go by no she won't, just crappy fetish outfits.

I think that the continuous flying could be a lot more useful now. Could be a lot more manipulative now.

Now my biggest concern is waiting half a year for her to come out.

Yeah that's a given, but every now and then there are still gem costumes that are worth buying whenever TN decides to take a brief break with the fetish wear like with the casual volume/legacy packs. Still loads better then getting next to nothing though.

Commence an attack on TN's Twitter to release her with Phase 4? Playing the waiting game doesn't make any sense to me at all due to the fact we've been waiting for the Tengu-do style since before Vanilla.

Umm What? No? Ever heard of patches? Comes out in Arcades first, so they know what works, doesn't work, and what to patch etc, before it comes to consoles. I'd rather wait then have a shitty ass character, and have to wait on 10x more patches like DOA5. No ty.

She's retained a great deal of his moveset and will probably be more competitively viable and just all around good than Tengu ever was (Banned 2U Tengu doesn't count).

In that regard, I wouldn't mind giving her a try. I'm still no Tengu player, but it'll be interesting to see how she plays and what's changed. It looks like gameplay wise just about every character has evolved except for Ein.

Poor Ein.

I just got to say I love the way they release new characters at a good paste. Helps keep stuff alive and lively.

This is probably how it started. Team Ninja "We know fans want male Tengu we almost done" One person out no where sees Ayane Tengu... "Forget the Tengu fans give us a female Tengu so you can sell us more sexy bikini stuff" Teamninja..."Hmmm female Tengu" Deletes male Tengu. It's probably not a surprise that they already working on a female version of Genra. Maybe in DOA6 it's going to be nothing but all tough guy male characters that feel more viable for a fighting tournament, oh wait, they don't look good in bikini's so it's probably going to be changed into an all out female game like Rumble Roses and then the game name would be changed into She or Alive.

No. This is exactly what we DIDN'T want.

EDIT: After watching the trailer and clapping with glee, I can safely say even if it's not Bankotsubo, she sure as hell rocks. I didn't think his moveset would translate well onto a female, but they made it work.

Subete wa...warawa no...zaregoto nari!!!!!! = Everything is...my...practical joke!!!!!

The majority of the rest of what she says is just old world version of taunts like, "What's the matter?" "Come on!" (While flying away). "This can't be!" (While lying on the ground.) I'll get the full list when I'm not at work.
