As some of us already stressed, Nyotengu apparently get's no new costume, as she wasn't present at the time of the first costume contest. They did at one point go through her costumes, also a bit later in the stream again, but I didn't see any sign of a new costume in the preview thumbnails. Sorry @Brute

My most big congratulations to @Ghosty-J & @DestructionBomb and to @Argentus & @DontForkWitMe: you made great outfits through your collaborations, I'm really glad to see your designs become reality in the game; they are badass outfits and to be able to play with them is just the worthy reward for your efforts and creativity!

I like the choice made for Lisa and Momiji (I can't wait to see that outfit!). About Helena I'm sure that she will appear a great elegant diva in that design, anyway I would have really loved to get her white swan. Overall I'm really sorry for Anthony Birraux, he is one of the most passionate fans of Helena but sadly even this time his outfit for her favourite character was discarded.

PS: Very likely I'm the only one interested, but in the streaming have they ever showned Alpha-152 new outfit/outfits (or at least the icons for her vestiary)?

Yes, it's a shame...though I think, I know why it was discarded.
1) It unfortunately looks really close to Helena's new bikini in Last Round. (All white and the translucent trail)
2) All the feathers would probably be really hard to recreate (there are other costumes with feathers, but not this much) and taxing to the graphics engine. (It has to run on PS3 and Xbox360 as well)
3) Helena is elegant, but her body type and her fighting style has not much in common with a ballerina. She is actually one of the "sturdiest" girls by look and her fighting style is strong, heavy and she crouches a lot. They would also not give her flat ballerinas but high heels. So she wouldn't be a ballerina after all.

Congrats to all the designers for making the cut!!!!!!! Lets hope @ KT stream later on today we can get all of our questions concerning costumes answered. And more importantly watch a stream of the game by people IMHO that like the damn game and at least casually plays it., or has something invested in it. We have been getting thrashed in almost every stream, review, and almost any reveal of this game!!! have anyone else noticed it? The irony of it all is, they got the effing game and dont even know the community designed costumes, didnt even know who the new characters was. Didnt even know Akira from vf Sarah!!!didnt know whoTina is!! are you friggin kidding me and they get the game and permission to showcase it? I hope TN can see the error in this cause anyone new to the game watching these streams IDK the likelihood of them joining our community. More importantly to TN ....BUYING THE GAME !!! But these concerns can be addressed at a later time,BUT MUST BE ADDRESSED. S/O 2 all the designers once again!!!!! Team Ninja has served us some justice !!! NOW! lets get hyped about whats so secret with the online aspect. "I LEAVE AS I COME"

I agree. The costumes don't affect gameplay, system changes do. Knowing TN however, they will probably focus on showing new costumes rather than move changes for each character.

The only costume I care about is Momiji's Indigo Happi (the blue outfit) from Ninja Gaiden.

Yes, that is a great idea! It would be awesome if they gave us like you said the Core Fighters + the 2 new characters. And one of the two new stages to play on, only offline with two rounds (like they have shown us in gameplay videos). Then it would also be similar to the very first demo of DOA5: Dead or Alive 5 Alpha. :)

One can only hope...
