After a huge fifth anniversary event in 2013, BATTLE ARENA MELBOURNE is back on MAY 9-11, 2014!

The annual Major celebrates the Australian fighting game scene, providing a national platform for players across the country to come together and compete. We welcome new players and spectators to our amazing community.

As always there will be plenty of free-play and casual setups for players looking for practice or just for fun outside the tournament action. Of course, players will be hungry for glory and one of the iconic BAM boxing glove trophies

Man, I only won because @Borgieman told me some words from a wiseman when I was 2-0 down. "Give him your business cards", a reference to our casuals and my sort of troll like play. He clearly saw I wasn't playing my usual self. You can actually catch it on stream @47:40 and you'll also see my response... Flicking my wrist as if I'm throwing him my business card.

If it wasn't for Borgieman I wouldn't have won. I believe that 100%. I've been helping him out leading up to BAM which made me make sure I got my own play in check.

Very intelligent game play on the stream, everyone was fighting to control the momentum, good distance control, mix ups, stage control, a few power blows and power launchers used, water stun usage, throw and whiff punishing but I give me the prize for beating out a wake up kick @ 54:15 which leads to a CB juggle that wins the round =). That whole final game was extremely nice play by both me and @FM BigBoss.
