This is because we’ve done some marketing research and we found that the series’ fans are really looking forward to female characters. They are basing that off DOA5. Most DOAs have more men. Though I am down for more female characters than men.

This. It's honestly amazing to me that people, even trying to joke, would actually pretend that DOA ever had more females than males past DOA5.
Yeah the females are more KNOWN, but to try and rewrite history and act as if there was more females than males all the time is just ridiculous.

If the game is 25 chars including Nyotengu and P4, I don' think those two will make it… We are at 18 chars now, right? So only 7 spots left to claim and there are more important females… and they need at least a few more guys XD
If it's 25 without DLC one of them might have a chance imo

“7 more slots” already includes Lisa and Kokoro.
We have 14 officially revealed chars + 2 DLC(Nyo & P4) + 2 teased (Lisa & Kokoro) out of suspected 25. This would also be the worst case scenario as well, maybe the DLC chars won't get a Deluxe costume, maybe there are secret characters etc.
