I think it's very positive that she didn't actually go through DOA4 so once she officially jumps from SCV to DOA5 she'll get used really fast to the new system.

I think she played DOA4 but not competitively, i read that somewhere i think.

She played DOA4 but because she was underage she couldn't participate on the Tournaments. She used Ayane, Kasumi and on a far distance from those 2 Kokoro if I remember well.

I hope so too. I'm not familiar with Kayane, but it'd certainly be nice for DOA5 to gain more known players from the competitive scenes of other fighters. It'd be nice if she joined up here too. Keep the family together, you know?

Kayane's a friendly kid from France with a gift for fighting games, namely that one game Sonny Chiba is in and that Tekken Swords game this guy Yoshimitsu is also in. She started off with DOA, as her screenname would imply to an extent. You can't help but think "awwwww" when you see her and she's suddenly stylin' on decent players most of the time.

I don't think anyone should read too much into the matches played with Shimbori. I don't think he's won one yet in any vid I've seen <sorry, dengeki, he won>, <and you can generally spot a few missed opportunities in every match> but he's also never not won at least a round. <to save face I'd guess>
I think they were just "playing" and Shimbori is being courteous by not owning, given his obvious advantages in terms of technical knowledge. What does he stand to gain by winning?
Kayane's Kasumi was impressive at E3. It would have been interesting to see how she would have made out against Shimbori's Leifang, though I suspect he would have won a round, and she the match. - lol

You couldn't pick your fighter for DOAD story?.. Surely they meant to say "won't be like previous DOAs." Or, "it will be like DOAD." Because from what Ive gathered it is more like Dimensions, all crammed together. Just wanted to point that out.

If its anything like DOA please no lifeless cutscenes without movements. This is a Console game I expect something good on the story animation (Bring more Lettuce fights for lols JK) I want a story video already.
