For the first time since Evolution 2006, Dead or Alive will have organized EVO representation. Anyone who is a fan of the DOA series should participate in the DOA5U side tourney at EVO 2014 this year. Requiem, Griffin, and I will be running a side tourney for DOA. We are bringing 6 Xbox's + 6 ASUS monitors to use in the BYOC area of the EVO tournament halls. If you are attending EVO this year, be sure to sign up for the DOA5U side tourney.

Registration
-$10 for pot (All money goes towards prize pot for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place. NONE of the money will go to the event organizers of the side tourney)
-Registration for DOA will be on-site. You can register by finding our booth in the BYOC area of the tournament hall.
-Finding where to register for the DOA side tourney won't be hard. Just look for the only people playing DOA in the building, that will be us.
-Seriously we won't be too hard to find at all. We'll have 6 set ups, a couple laptops, a computer monitor, a 42inch monitor, and a green screen with us. You can't miss us. We'll have a big banner hanging that says 'Godlike Combo' and 'Capsule Entertaiment'. There is no way you can miss it.
-You will need to at least have the 'Basic Pass' or greater gain access to the tournament hall. This can be purchased for $20 at the EVO website or by clicking here

Double Elimination
Best 3 out of 5 rounds for a match
Best 2 out of 3 matches for advancement/elimination
Best 3 out of 5 sets for winners, losers, and grand finals
Bracket reset for grand finals if losers bracket player wins the 3 out of 5 set

If a participant accidentally presses start during a match then they will have to forfeit the round.
Payout
1st - 55% (of total registration)
2nd - 35%

-This DOA5U side tourney is really happening. Don't sleep on us. The West Coast DOA community is here to represent Dead or Alive at the world's largest fighting game tourney.
-If you have any questions or concerns about the event please don't hesitate to post here or PM me
-If you are competing in multiple games at EVO, be sure to tell the TO's for all the games you're competing in that you're also competing in the DOA side tourney so you won't be DQ'd
-All tournament matches will be recorded and broadcasted later at night.
-Links of where to watch the tournament matches will be posted before the weekend of EVO. Just keep checking in if you're interested in watching
