Is it possible to create a TMCL file for TMC file? If so, please tell me how. I have a few TMC files that has had their TMCL files mysteriously disappear. I'm also having difficulty with hair. I can change the color, but I can't seem to get rid of the "blockly" parts of the hair. Pic included to help explain. Thanks in advance for any help Click here for Blocky Hair pic

In reply to your post in the other thread, make sure your texture has an alpha channel. Although I don't use photoshop, I use paint.net for recolors.

Huh. I could swear I was supposed to remove the alpha channel. Could you explain how to use paint.net for coloring editing to me? I would appreciate it. Or if you know of a tutorial, that would be cool too

It's pretty much this:

1)Load the texture hair that you want to recolor.

2) use adjustment tab and choose black and white to recolor the hair black and white. By doing this, this makes the hair easy to recolor since you won't be left with any tinges of the original color.

3) use the recolor option on the far left in the tab(has one color with an arrow pointing to a new one). Set tolerance to 90%, and recolor to which color you want. Then save making sure the type is DDS or direct draw surface. Save as BC2 LINEAR DXT3. this has transparency.

That sort of worked. Here it is
Seems like you colored a bit too close near the transparent parts, to avoid that, start coloring near the solid color parts first. Coloring near or on the transparent parts right off rip will cause that weird hue effect at the transparent ends!
