Back to the topic of FFXV, I really hope New Game+ isn't what they make it sound like... which is just a normal new game with all your levels/equipment.

That would be really lame, and you'd honestly just be better off starting fresh.

Lol well their appearances definitely match up even If their personalities don't! XD

Well, Nyotengu literally is a...*cough* ...whore and Gentiana is definitely kind of an attention whore, if you know what I mean, lol. XD But lets not get into spoiler territory.

Back to the topic of FFXV, yadda yadda...

We are on topic... >__>

To be fair, aren't the bosses more difficult in NG+ for Lightning Returns since you get to keep all of your stuff? I haven't beaten the game yet I so I thought I'd ask.

No, that was Hard Mode. NG+ in LR let you upgrade weapons to be more powerful and let you go passed the main level cap etc.

XVs NG+ so far has just said it lets you carry over your clear data and levels etc. no mention of adding extra bosses or weapons or making it harder.

It sounds like a normal New Game except the party is ridiculously OP which imo takes out the fun of a more action gameplay style.

Helena should get a Celes Chere costume someday.

- In Final Fantasy 6, Celes disguises herself as an opera singer named "Maria"
- They both have that tragic, medieval, theatrical, French Romantic heroine vibe
- All the costumes below remind me of something Helena have worn in the past

From what I've heard that's what it will be starting a new game but with your levels and equipment.

That sounds rather disappointing lol

Yeah, right now it doesn't seem really worth doing a NG+
Maybe it will be once they add the new cutscenes.... to experience the story better. (though you could just watch them xD)

Edit - New stage for Dissidia to be added on the 22nd : The capital of the Kingdom of Dalmasca, Rabanastre from FFXII.

Omg yes! Rabanastre was an interesting location plus aren't you playing through FFXII @Hayabusiness? Now we just need Fran to be revealed as a character! This must be for FFXII remastered coming out.

This will all look so glorious on my PS4 Pro! *__*

On another note. There has been a lot of discussions about the ending of FFXV, expecially one detail, that splits players in two camps...
!!BIG FAT SPOILER COMING IN!!
Are Prompto, Gladio and Ignis dead since they joined Noctis in the afterlife to defeat Ardyn? I made a litte post about that over on Neogaf where they are still debating.

For everyone who is still like:
But the bros are all dead because they were there in the afterlife to help Noctis defeat Ardyn! D:
The final defeat of Ardyn does not take place in the afterlife but in the heart of the crystal.
After Noctis gets sucked into the crystal this is what Bahamut explained to him:
"The heart of the crystal, wherein lies the soul of the star. And it is in this place, where the king will gain the power to fulfill his calling. By the light of the crystal and the glaives of rulers' past."
If that wasn't clear enough, the Ardyn defeat takes place in the exact swirl of blue and violett with crystal particles floating around in which Noctis was when he met Bahamut...
It's not only not the afterlife but the bros are also not there in reality when Ardyn is defeated. They are a mere vision of Ardyn. We only see them for a second from Ardyn's point of view. He then shakes his head in agony and they are gone again. It is only Noctis and the former Lucian kings who defeat Ardyn, just as Bahamut foretold. (I think Luna and Regis too were only visions by Ardyn.)
The only afterlife scene in the game (the campfire scene took place before entering Insomnia to confront Ardyn) was the scene of Noctis' and Luna's wedding. Regis was with them (in voice) but none of the bros attended. You would think they were invited if they were dead as well, right? That was also the point of having the bros there in a picture...unless you chose Cindy. ;)

Spoilers to do with that.

I always am amazed when people fail to understand things like that! XD It didn't even cross my mind that they could have died because one of the whole things is Noctis doing it himself. Also yeah it was obvious I thought that they were in the crystal and also that the campfire scene was actually from before entering Insomnia. And i liked that scene showing Noctis together with Luna in the afterlife.

People over on Neogaf where actually even like: The Bros are definitely dead because something something...and I also want them to be dead because that makes the story even more dramatic and dark.

Well I'm happy it doesn't follow that then! That would have made the ending way to depressing and dark, I like that they had a balance that it was bittersweet.

Is Neogaf really still debating about that? lol
I thought it was pretty much obvious that the scene was set within the crystal and not in the afterlife, it's one of the few obvious things in this game, Noctis even actually dies there, how can someone die in the afterlife? xD
And yeah, the bros were definitely not right there and everything was probably just Ardyn's vision (Regis and Luna too), to highlight that Noctis is not really alone, unlike him.
Same for the campfire scene.

Sooo...seeing the awesome Rabanastre stage, where do you guys think The FFXV stage will be set? :)
I think there are basically two absolutely iconic locations in the game:

1) The Citadel

FFXV-Art-Presentation_02-26-15_004.jpg

They could have it transform from the normal version to the World of Ruin version.

2) Duscae Valley

31211031210_44a86072ef_o.png

It could transform into it's night version:

...or into..
...it's version after a certain point in the story:

Both locations have their pros and cons though. I feel like Dissidia has already more than enough urban arena stages. The newest one being Rabanastre. Though the Citadel really is perfect for being enclosed, being the perfect size and the stage transformation would also fit perfectly.
Duscae would be a great change from all these enclosed arenas. But is Dissidia even able to actually render this huge open world valley? Of course the combat would be confined within boundaries but how would they implement these? Wouldn't it feel and look strange to have invisible walls or a force field surrounding you?

I hope the night time version of Duscae Valley, it matches the gloom and personality of Noctis who will be added in most, the stage should match who's to be added

Duscae valley I think but in a position where Lestallum is in the background, both really would be perfect though so I'm not sure.

Usually take my time with FF, I'm having a pretty good times... I have a few gripes, but the soundtrack is currently helping me mentally.

Why Lestallum? I think having this view is prettier and more iconic.

Oh, I hope it's not the desert and Hammerhead:

Lol I like Lestallum I can't help it! Xp I'm okay with the location they pick since I'm pretty sure it will be a good direction they take.
