You don't have to play yourself to tell that the game is still jaggy as fuck. Tom Lee said it himself in the Gamespot Hands-on, they already feel like they pushed the envelope enough in most cases. The graphical touch-ups are really about adding more to the screen. Particles, penguins... and the soft engine.
I was really hoping they were going to take this game to the next level, but as each day passes leading to its release I begin to think Last Round is a last attempt to drain people of whatever they can grab next. It's really lame how much feedback we have given, and how much of it they have taken into consideration is insulting.
For me it's not about support. I do enough of that without my money even being spent. To me this just seems like a vaguely entertaining package with hardly any value.
The main goal for a company as small as Team NINJA is to keep the players you do have happy, and they aren't doing that right now, and if you are content with what you're seeing from LR I suppose you just have low expectations. This is still a release, and if they don't do it right, the company will lose money.

Oh yes they are. Seems a majority of the community is in it for the fan service and Last Round is giving them those preorder bonuses where all that's covering Kasumi and Ayane's nipples are hawaiian leis.
When did I say this? For the record I'm not content with it. I DO like how they made it so PS3/360 5U players can upgrade and play people online that get the new game for free. I'd be typing here for days if I listed the things I don't like.

so maybe they would have the stages available as like payed DLC or something ...
I dunno I really dont think they're just gonna leave the past gen hanging like that ...

In one of the videos or articles I think someone said that Last Round will come as a free update however the new stuff in LR will have to be bought as DLC in some DLC pack. So characters, stages, costumes and all that jazz new to LR will have to be bought as DLC.
I won't mind a paid dlc released couple months after the initial release date but leaving last gen owners out just makes it pointless buying the last gen versions. This is probably why they're only releasing a digital version knowing not many people would actually get it.

I mean, unless whoever made the chart is just flat out wrong, it seems to be pretty clear that even the retail versions of PS3/360 DOA5 LR will not come with new stages.

And up until this point, any new stages were free. It'd be completely dumb to try to sell them, even to people who shelled out money for the completely new version.
The PS3 and Xbox360 version won't get the stages, hairstyles and customization...ever. That's how it is. Some of this is understandable, because of the last console generation's power limitations, some isn't and is just to milk the fans as much as possible.

Truth be told, theres barely no way to tell if one is playing this on ps4 or ps3 version (apart from the fact that the new stages are not available in the ps3 version, LOL).
Ohh well, still.. one more reason to upgrade to current gen finally I guess
well i'm just disappointed its only 2 stages ... I was really hoping for areal gardens to be honest
Trust me, it's hard to forget about the god damned penguins when there is nothing else to see.

Yes, it was confirmed by an employee of TN in one of the preview videos, at least for the retail version. There is still the chance of more DLC afterwards...
There better be no more stages though, as PS3 and Xbox360 owners will feel even more screwed over! XD
