I'm still trying to figure out how the Ninja Clan packs can get a pass for recolor copy and pastes while past packs, while sexual and fetish, gave the girls unique outfits? Such packs include the Bath and Bedtime, Overalls, and many of the swimsuits.

I never really had a problem with some of the other packs to be honest, but I guess it's mainly because those are easily fetishized compared to the Ninja Pack which is only really fetishy with Kunoichi costumes and those vested within the history of Ninja know that Kunoichi are SUPPOSED to be seen that way to make it easier for assassination(seriously, you think anyone but the most hardened will think that the woman baring her breasts at you is NOT going to kill you?)

@Jyakotu Some fetish packs got personalization between them (as overalls or schoolgirls), but others almost nothing at all or in measure lesser or equal to the ninja packs.

Being fair imo the kunoichi outfits, especially the ones from the pack 1, should be compared to the pajamas (equal models with different colors, texture patterns and presence of little unique elements - but repeated - between them); the male ninja outfits should be compared with the overalls (models using a "background similarity" but presenting evident variations between them and using different colors and patterns with presence of evident unique elements for each one).

The schoolgirl pack would be a fetish DLC using outfits really unique (so using more originality than the ninja packs); the gym outfits or the bathtime instead would be definitely much lesser unique and evidently more close to be copy paste between them compared to the ninja clans packs.

PS: Finally, about the popularity of the ninja clans pack, it has not to be discarded that while sexy themes can be appealing only to people loving the fanservice, fetish themes but that can be seen not only as sexy can be appealing at the same time to people liking the fanservice and to people liking cool outfits: for this reason I think that It's not a case that even the police one appeared to me the DLC pack of this kind recepted better, even from the people usually complaining about similar packs with not unique outfits.

They put time and efforts on the SK pack, I'm pretty sure it's going to have it's place next to Ninja pack 2015, casual and legacy pack for the best DLC. Too bad that I'm not a patient person...

I'm hoping Mila gets Daidouji but hibestly shell probably wind up with like....the pink puppet perv lady, or something revealing like that.

Because the first ninja packs were

A) actual costumes instead of just mostly bare skin

And

B) actually look pretty badass for the most part.

Packs like the ones you listed were either mostly just skin or goofy/awkward looking.

The issue with bikinis and "sexy' costumes is that it doesn't matter what little variety there is, because its still mostly just bare skin, so it all looks the same anyway.

I really hope the rest of the costume packs are like this....where EVERY fighter, including the guys get something. I was actually surprised they included Raidou at all. I'm purchasing both packs so that Team Ninja can know that I support this method of including everyone.

Good! Usually I expect discounted prices before to get the DLC packs (and being interested to get in the end all the outfits, it's not convenient for me to get singularly only the males being not only 2 costumes - as for cops or reindeer outfits - but half of the ninja clans packs); but in the case of the Ninja packs I will make an exception and I will buy the complete versions asap, just for manifestating my interest for male outfits and not only sexy ones.

About the future DLC, I think that it's already confirmed that the SK pack and the last 2 unknown packs until June will be addressed to only DoA females characters (all of them include exactly 16 outfits). But I hope that in the next season pack we will see again costumes adressed to all the characters (and not necessarily through the only Halloween pack).

But I found a technic. To make myself believe those are Kasumi's unique outfits, I don't buy any other of the pack. This is the ultimate solution for copy/past, they worked for one costume so I only buy one !

Yes like I like Marie and Tina's overalls, but the others are kinda...meh (I didn't buy any 5u DLC because I thought I could sense a PS4/XBONE version... god was I right xD)

I've taken a liking to Milas bedtime dlc...it helps that she actually DOES wear button ups, unlike Momiji who got the same. I just pretend its one she would normally wear like her c2.

But back on the ninjas...again its a combo of

1) they look cool (masks and scarves ftw)
2) they aren't stripperific like most dlc (ninja pack 1 anyway)
3) they are kinda unique to each character if only due to pattern swaps.
4) it includes the guys!

I said Sunday because from then to the 22nd they could tease 2 outfits per day all the way to the 22nd where all 16 would be teased and the pics/trailer would come out on the 23rd with the entire pack releasing on the 24th. But yeah we probably wouldn't get anything on Sunday.
