Destroyed Lab and/or Depth 2 would be perfect to promote Ms. Monday.
I'm not necessarely asking for her, but I feel like she's coming.

Actually, I wouldn't mind TN abandoning Yaiba forever but keeping the concept of Ms. Monday for DOA. Good recycling.

Yeah, the Destroyed Lab should have been in by now (especially after four or five remakes of the same game). Actually, more stages should have been put in by now instead of just costumes.

Train stage :(
Yes, go ahead and kill the driver with a dragon kick and see where the train takes both players

The guys on that forum (posted another screenshot on Facebook) keep on talking about an E3-Trailer, where Ms. Monday is actually playable + destroyed Lab stage is featured. Ms. Monday uses mostly "slaps and dirty kicks", as the person says. He also mentioned, that a new BMG is on it's way and she will have a Nurse, Cheerleader, Business and Maid suit, most likely for a separate fee.

Edit: There was a screenshot posted in that conversation, where you can see Marie Rose and most likely Honoka fighting in the destroyed lab stage. But that could also be easily photoshopped or modded. Let's see what happens next.

Swallow that also as rumors guys but the E3 is just 7 days away from today. So we know the truth really soon.

i'll be honest, despite the fact i like miss monday way more myself, i think it'd be a bit light slap in the face if miss monday is announced despite the fact irene has been requested since vanilla DoA 5 was released.

By BMG, you mean BGM right?

I agree with you @WisperG , but it's a thin line to define which is what.
How do you define and differentiate "incomplete forthcoming content" from "scrapped content"?
As far as we know that additional data from Depth could be something new and incomplete that they're going to release, and not part of scrapped content.
Vice-versa, the Beach could've been scrapped content and not forthcoming.

I mean, in this case it's quite likely that things are like you said, but can we be 100% sure?

This is the text from the post:

"The E3 trailer features a slightly modified version of the penultimate cutscene from DOA5 where Kasumi is trying to save Hayate from MIST's underground lab. She thinks the black chick (Mariposa) is the person in charge of that experiment, but someone is observing the scene in the shadow. It's Ms. Monday and she's actually working for Donovan for the sake of creating new stuff.

She's a guest character. She mostly uses slaps and dirty kicks. No idea what her fighting style is, didn't have the chance to see her in action. However, she appears to be very sarcastic and fun.

The pack comes with a modified stage (Apocalypse Lab) from the Story Mode's boss and a new BGM.

She also comes with her own Nurse, Cheerleader, Business Suit and Maid costumes but I think it's optional (you can pay for it separately)."

@TOBMAST3R Like I always thought while Rachel can be in the game without Irene, the opposite is not equally right. Both of them are the "NG Girls" of the first two titles, but while the role of Irene in the overall plot so far seems to be more relevant tied to her canon appearence in NG3 and in DoA, the playability of Rachel in the Sigma titles put her automatically over any NPC. Before to ask for a character that has never fought, make sense to include a character as Rachel that has already the fame of a fighter in her own series (and so is even more popular). For a gerarchy of popularity IMO Rachel had slim chances to be included in the roster without the previous entry of Momiji; Irene the same without the inclusion of both the previous two heroines.

However Irene and Miss Monday are in the same league (Monday is the supporting NPC female partner of the main character in the anti Ninja Gaiden) so a comparison between them is more easy.
  • The pros for the CIA agent is her being definitely the more estabilished character in the series (and historical if we take in consideration the NES version) with a precise placement in the DoA plot and an already modern 3d model; at the same time Miss Monday is a sexy character able to inherit the villainous characteristics that TN seemed to wish to include in more characters (even if she seems to have a personality close to Nyotengu but more sadistic, so that kind of characters not positive but that want still appear sympathetic to the audience).
  • Irene would be another female partner of Ryu and so far her interactions (in tag or in the future story) could be expanded to Ayane, Rachel, Momiji, Hayate, Kasumi and Christie. Anyway with the exception of Christie, all these characters were already benefited from the characters included since Ultimate (Rachel and Momiji started already as a tag team): safe Leon, Marie Rose and Jacky, the rest is more or less tied with them. Miss Monday would have the possibility to be the direct rival of Lisa making the scientist more relevant (and with her role becoming consequently clearly positive and so less ambiguous) and at the same time could create new interactions with Christie, Rig and very likely Raidou (surely she would be behind a project so similar to what happened with Yaiba).
  • Finally, while after Ryu and excluding Ayane (a DoA character), the character more popular from the NG series is Momiji and not Irene, it's very likely that Ms.Monday is the character more popular of NGZ:Yaiba and maybe even more than the same Yaiba (that personally I prefer). It's possible that the spin-off of NG will not see sequels, however the characters could not be forgotten and continue their existence as "guests" of the main TN titles .Raidou, an half-cyborg ninja, could be very likely the personal DoA answer to Yaiba (so excluding the presence of the character in the fighting series), but paradoxically the secondary Miss Monday could meet more chances to get a presence in DoA as inheritance of NGZ (however I believe that Irene was requested definitely much more than Ms. Monday).
We will see if the rumor will appear right or instead a fake news (this time didn't mention at all Aerial Gardens, Freedom Survivor or new Tag stages compatibility: while this make the current one more realistic, at the same time we have to think that the first one was surely fake in part). However the rumor seems surely to be at least well elaborated: Destroyed Lab is maybe the request from the fans more easy to realyze and Miss Monday would be a perfect character to be released with it (but to be fair even Phase 4 it was so) and related with the events of the plot as the Epsilon's project (could make sense to think that Rig didn't make start it alone, in the end no one said us that he has scientific competences). MoreTN already showned to play with the cutscenese of the story mode and to assign a name even to the stage as "Apocalypse Lab" it's not something to understimate about the credibility's degree of the rumor.

My preference and wish remain for Irene, but in a such case I would be glad for all the fans of Ms. Monday (even on FSD as Emperor, deathofaninja or Goarmagon) =)

PS: Also, very likely it's just paranoia, but to me seems that the sound in background at (1:52-1:53 in the first video) of the bits of a new track showned with the Fighter Force pack (very likely the one associated to the new character), could resemble a slighty alterated and shortened version of the beat heard in the main theme of NGZ Yaiba (heard for example from 0:46 in the second one). What do you think about?

Irene is an NPC, Rachel is a playable fighter in NG. Her presence and Momij's as well in DOA are more than justified and totally necessary.

Do you really belive this post? Aren't we being trolled?

Talking about Doa5U I would say that Rachel and Momiji's presence is more justified in DoA for a matter of overall popularity in the franchise of Team NINJA. Again, considering only the DoA series, Irene should be the character more justified because has already a canonical role inside the events (after DoA Dimensions and not with NG2, of course). However I wouldn't say that the presence of any of these characters (Irene included) it was/it would be necessary: they can make happy the fans of TN and bring new additions to the table but everything ends here until they are at their debut and without considering their proper moveset. Differently a Ninja Gaiden game with them help the players to feel themselves more at home, seeing and playing with the characters part of the setted fictional universe that they already know (and of course with the movesets that they learned to use in the past games and that is part of the gaming experience of a NG title).

But of course, now that Momiji and Rachel are part of the DoA family too, I want that they will remain in the roster even in the future titles! For any character (or moveset) there is no better justification to appear in the sequel than their playable presence in the old title.

Do you really belive this post? Aren't we being trolled?

There are high chances that is just a fake news as I said, I believed that was only nice to speculate about it waiting for the DLC pack of the next week :p

Yai for yet more female characters.
Getting one step closer to a 3D version of jp beat em ups starring only female characters.

Next step: remove all male ones for DoA6!

/sigh
What makes this even more ironic is their claims of wanting to avoid putting too much emphasis on females with all those "I am a fighter!" no more nudes, no more blahblahblah. We all know how it ended up. It's probably pretty stupid to even get surprised at this by now.
