This reply feels really unfocused. It's like you don't read something and then reply to it? It seemed the same way the first two as well. It's a little esoteric. The post, not your pattern, I mean.

When I go or return from a break, I do so at my discretion - like we all do. I assume we're mostly adults here.
BTW, I spy a black and white/either, or fallacy. You might feel that right now things are saturated with negativity - and you may be right. But that doesn't mean that my balked hope for this DLC is invalid or should be dismissed.

I don't know what to say if you still feel that people who are disappointed by this pack are being unreasonable. I'm always surprised when someone latches on to someone's reaction. Just because they are consistently putting out bullshit DLC doesn't mean that I shouldn't want them to be better. It feels a little control-freaky for someone to police my reaction -- negative as it may be.

I don't criticize based on the argument. I criticize based on how the argument presented. And right now, all I see is a bunch of "It's all bad" based on 1 or 2 outfits, "LEAVING FOREVAAAAR until I decide I wanna come back", words like "abomination" "atrocity" "insult" and the like being thrown left and right, and generally people not communicating their arguments well for what should be, and basically is, a Phase Alpha. TN will see our comments, and their volume, and they'll just go back to bikinis and fetish wear. By shouting loudly that you hate these, you're essentially sending the message you hate ALL of these.

I love that he's showing skin - I don't care if they put him in a Rocky Horror Picture Frankenburter outfit. Just make it look less sloppy. Legit WTF to Bayman, though. You have to at least give me that. To me... this DLC set was a swimsuit/fetish set. I will say that it has elements that are original and good. However, the parts that are original aren't good and the parts that are good aren't original. But that's how I feel. Team Ninja needs to break the pattern. They still haven't found the alternative to swimsuit/dlc and paradoxically they manufacture weak attempts to break that cycle. Overall though, yeah I think that you're right. When they see this they'll be like "swimsuits/fetish" which baffles me. I'm sure they are more creative than this DLC and their fetish crap.

When they first announced Season 2's costumes, it included a bunch of boring collabs, a bikini pack and this one. Somehow this one managed to be the least impressive in my eyes, so I daresay let them return to the bikinis and fetishwear/collabs.

Congratulations to all those who got their costumes in the game.

Like every Halloween pack, to me is a very unconsistent pack. Some costumes are really cool (Kasumi, Ayane, Raidou, Akira) some others are just vulgar and typical Halloween shit I don't like at all (pumpkins, pirates, etc). Helena and Lisa have cool designs too. I love how the sexiest ones are Ein and Akira this time. That Akira costume is really HOT. Not even LeiFang can defeat that xD

I encourage to all artists who got 2 or 3 costumes to design costumes for the entire cast next time. Maybe they'll get all costumes! How cool could be that, wouldn't it?

I'm on Xbox One here. Had an issue with several of the Halloween 2015 costumes not installing properly. Anyone else have this issue? I'm deleting and reinstalling them all now just to be safe. Will edit later to say if it worked or not.

I wish that Team Ninja would do another non Halloween Contest soon.

While some of the designs were nice , nothing beats a new standard look for the characters that isn't related to a holiday.

Kinda weird that we anticipated this to be the one event of the year.

I think somewhere deep down I'm doing that but I'm mostly looking with a complete blank expression. I'm in disbelief but only to a certain extent. It's like no matter how low I have my expectations they always manage to somehow still run them even further into the ground. It literally couldn't get any worse than that outfit unless he was fully naked.

Pretty much 100% agree with this. Although, I have to say I do like Kasumi/P4's elf ears!

While neither Leon or Milas costumes are BAD, per se, they just aren't GOOD. In Leons case, aside from the mask there's nothing interesting.

For Mila, its mainly just the fact that it was a foregone conclusion that she'd get a sexy bee costume. Nothing to see or get excited about


Both costumes settle directly on "meh". I'll get Leons just because he has so few costumes but with Mila I'll keep using her c6 and c2 like I have since vanilla.

I've calmed down slightly but still salty, there's nothing I can do Ein is destined to have really bad costumes now. I'll take my Deception Crossover armour and C1 and leave it at that.

I'll buy Ayanes because I still use her from time to time but that's it. As for the others couldn't care less have I have no intention of buying them.

Most of these are actually quite decent in my opinion. I especially like Kasumi's, Phase 4's, Marie's, Ayane's, Eliot's, Honoka's and Helena's costumes.
And then you have Bayman looking like a mutant ninja turtle thing or whatever, and poor Leifang looking like a slut. /:

I do like quite of few of the outfits at face-value (without taking into account textures or clipping or something). And I can kind of see why Ein fans would be kind of angry with what we ended up with. But, I would much rather have dumb, jarring sexualization coming from all sides, than having that only be the women's domain. And since the train likely isn't gonna stop on the female front (*cough* wtf Leifang *cough*), equilibrium must be obtained somehow. lol

With that being said, Ein totally should've gotten some of his other past outfits. Disco Duck, denim jacket, sports jacket, trenchcoat... There are a lot of past outfits that should've gotten in at this point before doing these weird collaborations.

I legitimately like Zack, Jacky, Raidou, Lisa, Ayane's, and Leon's outfits. I'm not 100% sure what Hayate and Hayabusa are supposed to be. Bayman's is wtf. Christie's is also kind of wtf because it doesn't seem like something she would actually wear, even for Halloween. Leifang's is...trying too hard. I can dig Nyotengu's because of the wing change. The other outfits range from meh to kind of decent.

...Still not buying any of them. DLC for this game has gotten ridiculous. And I'm not 100% sure of the direction TN is going in in general. I'd just be being an enabler.

I feel like there had to have been some way to not end up with like 4 pirate outfits and 2 Mad Hatters. And I also want to slightly give backup to the point that maybe it wasn't the best thing to allow multiple designs by the same artists unless there was literally no other way around it. I'd find it hard to believe that out of that 1800, nobody else's would have been up to par. It just seems like a surefire way to unneededly piss people off.
