Did anyone notice this? (Mila's face? 24 total characters?)

I think they look alike too.
They both have short hair, and from the character select screen you can see they took her picture from the right side of her face where she has one long bang just like the achievements picture where If you look cloesly she also has one long bang. I dont think she has two long bangs as it seem to appear in the character select screen picture but rather just the dark screen background. The front bangs are are not visble in the character select pic however neither are kokoro's and helena's which were pushed more to the side of their faces for their portraits.

I just hope her style is one that we haven't seen yet before in DOA.
I hope its Vale Tudo. She's looking tomboyish enough for it.

Ayane, Kasumi, Hayabusa, Bayman, Mila, Rig, Helena, Christie, Lisa, Jann Lee, Lei Fang, Zack, Hitomi, Hayate, Akira, Sarah, Alpha-152, Kokoro, Eliot, Tina, Bass, Gen Fu, Brad Wong.
That's still only 23 characters. The chances that Pai was removed are about the same as the chances of Ein or Leon taking that spot.
Dear FSD members: please re-read my post. That is all. And it doesn't just refer to the possibility of Pai. Keep your cynicism in check, hype levels on max, and stay positive. There are maybe not a ton of surprises left, but certainly a fair amount of positive confirmations after a bit of misdirection seems to have waylaid a bunch of you.

While that is very true, it does seem odd that you would get achievements for unlocking Akira and Sarah with no mention of Pai. Unless Pai is already unlocked to begin with, which would make very little sense as they been letting everybody use Akira and Sarah in builds up until now. And then Pai hasn't even been revealed yet.
I mean, would they let people get acclimated to characters only to push then behind unlocks later? I think that would annoy some of the tourney crowd, wouldn't it?

It's possible that achievements were only tied to unlocks that were at the end of a specific progression tree, though, isn't it? As in while doing a certain task, you unlock things along the way and then at the end get a final unlock?
