Dead or Alive 5: Remaining Issues

We need to get Rikuto a wheelchair and a copy of Microsoft Sam. Then we can pass him off as Stephen Hawking. Think about what it would do for doa's rep: "Today's headlines: Stephen Hawking calls doa 'deepest fighting game ever'. Unruly mobs storm Gamestop in hopes of copy."

Have fun with that.
My head is still intact. I got all of that and I understand it. It is a very interesting theory, thank you for that. I will keep this in mind the next time I have a conversation about the number 0. I had a physics instructor a few years ago that spoke briefly on the subject. He didn't go this detailed into it.

Take a piece of paper and throw it into a fire - it burns.

Take a fire and smash it into a another fire - it burns.

An inferno, like dividing by zero, will always do the same thing (destroy everything it touches) so there is no debate as to what happens when you divide Zero by itself.

Its stays the same.

People tend to over think things.

Take a class of trig and then repeat that.

*Watches as all the children stare into the sky*

Theories, children - Its undefined because people describe to the theorem that it is undefined.

But if you simply accept that division by zero always equals zero then dividing zero by itself is a simple process.

0/0 = 0

Just like how if you pit Julius Rage against yourself in an argument we both get nowhere, if you pit Julius Rage against himself he gets nowhere either. . .

or maybe like how if you get a fat chick to suck you off and she thinks shes your girlfriend afterwards, shes getting nowhere just the same as if you're jacking off shes getting no where.

Or something like that. . . . listen, just go jack off and forget that I'm a much more intelligent man than all of you combined.

I can't believe we're talking about this here. I suggest the creation of a Hall of Fame to store these kind of posts.

The only part I didn't get was why it would be exactly half of infinity. Other than that, made perfect sense.

I have my notes somewhere and I can go more in depth some other time, but the basic rule of division is that you are, for a positive or negative value, creating "half" of the original. That is why dividing by zero, being nothing and therefore the opposite of everything, creates half of everything.

That is of course assuming the most basic action you can take when diving by zero, and as I said it's a god act. It is possible to mess with zero and any of the other numbers, but I don't really want to terribly mindfuck people with the concepts of using zero with other numbers, or god forbid zero itself. That would be the same as spawning an infinite number of infinites... a physics guy would at this point start branching into multiverse theories and all kinds of crap that relates to it, but thats not my area. It's complicated scary shit, we'll put it that way.

There's a lot of physical evidence that supports those theories outside of the math too, and that just makes the whole thing a lot scarier.

Thats why, say for instance....when you count on your hands you dont say zero first cause it would be rendered obsolete.

Would have been super effective if you had a video clip with the music. :)

So DOA5's remaining issue is dividing by 0?

0 divided by 0

If they add anything more for high level players it would be like a lap dancer giving you a blow job at no extra cost.

DOA4 is dead bitches. Long live the king.

Project Zero is a great development team from Koei-Tecmo. I wish they'd do a next-gen Fatal Frame instead of making a low-end version on the 3DS.

This thread makes me glad I went to a music school. The overtone series I get, but all this divide by zero and physics/trigonometry talk makes my brain hurt.
