I really didn't feel they were that great. Thanks for sharing the video though. One thing that interested me was seeing them use that speedy backup to avoid rising kicks. I've never really seen that used, and it seems like a strong idea.
I guess I shouldn't be hard on them, watching someone play and playing against them are two totally different things... I just saw so many failed juggles and it's like they didn't learn and counter moves that the other guy loves to use.
So far in DOA5, I've really only been WOW'ed by two players (online). Dovernut and Renarism. Both of them completely destroyed me and played their characters amazingly well. I look forward to some more offline matches in the coming months though.

Curse my lack of having a passport. I was going to be there. Would have made top 5 ooo yeah. No but seriously get out to events. I know it was a side tourny but this was one of the largest events all year. And with such a huge international event going on to have 4 entrees...
I am looking forward to DoA Dallas this year. Hopefully we can finally show people that we have a community behind this game and not just online warriors.

It's both funny and sad that most FGC elitists won't give DOA a chance.. but 4 top SF pros(which the elitists probably look up to) did.
Mad props to JWong,Fuudo,Tokido and Gamerbee for not being close minded pricks..and a big loogie to anybody at the event who knew how to play DOA but didn't bother entering.

I'm in Ontario. Calgary is too far for me to justify travelling to especially if the turn out is going to be four people. I'll take the challenge to beat them with one hand though.
Edit: Still, gotta give props for them bothering to go play DOA, considering it isn't really their main game.
