Jay-Z and Kanye West started using the word 'cray' purposely in one of their popular songs (N***as In Paris). The butchered word caught on quick, I didn't know people were still using the word. I thought it ran its course, I guess not.

This coming up weekend is going to be a lot of fun. After playing this past weekend I am really looking forward to playing DOA5 again.

Actually- The term "cray" is a short term for crazy, originated from the new york area (Specifically Brooklyn) dated back to the mid seventies.

confused with the term "Kray" which has become a homophone this year because of the double entendre in the song "Ni**a's in paris" by Kanye west and Jay Z.

They are actually referring to the notorious Kray brothers who were notorius in the French a lizè sector of Paris for bank robbing and dissapearing all over the rest of eastern europe. Their spans of smooth getaways lasted for years. Hence the lyrics "Ball so hard motherf***er's wanna FIND me" which is responded with "That ish Kray"

Idk I can't speak for everyone, maybe the people around Allan's way were saying it because of the song but cray has been a term on the urban east coast for years.

south street is the place to go, there is also an infused Vodka bar around there as well if your into that. it's good from what I've been told

I've never had a reason to go, before. I've only started playing other titles in tournaments as of the last year or two so traveling to GVN before just didn't come up. If it's as good an event as it sounds, return trips will likely happen.

Thanks CE, I arrive in Philly @9:30pm, probably won't get off the plane until 9:40 then I have to find my way to the shuttle bus.

I've been to my fair share of GVN's and a NEC, I never knew about these parties. I would always show up the day of the tournament, that's why I never heard of them.
