It works fine transferring it from another PS3 to another with the same PSN, but if you try to copy it to a different account it won't work. So even if you find someone with everything unlocked he'll still have a different User name.

Did you actually test out the game without having to restore the data to default? And are you using different PSN accounts or the same one.

For some reason my language options reset back to English every time I turn the game on, I change everything to Japanese and when I back out of options I see it say "Saving" at the bottom right. I turn it off come back later and I see it reset back to English. Is it just my PS3 having save...

I just tested it and it won't work, I tried sending my DOA5 data from my main PS3 with my American account to my two other PS3s. One of my other PS3s is using my Japanese account and the other is using my European account and they both say "System Data was created or modified by another user...

The save data is for the full system, but don't know for sure if its linked directly to the account, online, and/or offline. If needed I'll check it out when i'm at work in the morning and analyze all the data.

Wouldn't file sharing mess up the trophies on the PS3? I want all the characters and costumes because I usually have a game night at my place every friday/saturday, all i'm missing are the 3 Legendary costumes and Alpha. But personally would like to try and get all the trophies as well lol.
