    Not gonna lie, kinda breaks my heart when I go for those hi counter throws with Bass and they only do 45-50% as opposed to that pre patch 55-60% :[

    I've been playing hella Ryu lately in DOA6 and...im not gonna lie, i feel like im being carried by ppl not knowing that Onion stance is a gimmick (outside of 66k and blocked Onion stance 6p4), but hey, w/e racks up the wins i guess :/

    Kula's sliding low is going to be annoying af to deal with online, but she looks very interesting, I wonder if her diamond breath will operate like fatal stun, looks like it so far, and if it does then hoo boy, stun in FS into diamond breath into launch? the Cawmboes will be sick

    So it's a launcher not a stun extender? Huh, cause I'm pretty sure I saw some diamond breath into 5pp stun, but it was on NH so maybe it's a different story during critical stun

    Honestly, that animation is kinda slow and obvious. Not many moves look like that one. You'll get hit with it because you're doing something more often than not. It will mainly be used as a footsie tool or round ender.

    Watched the demonstration video, diamond breathe definitely leaves you in a juggle state, which is good. Im curious about the active frames on it.

    so apparently Pokemon S&S will not feature all 800+ Pokemon, ppl are mad but frankly i'm relieved, a fresh start with a more manageable amount of Pokemon to catch? count me in

    Absolutely agreed. I really hope they do all the old regions over on the switch like this. It would be super refreshing to play through.

    unless you play a character with a 9 frame mid, the only way to counter down 1 spam is to down 1 spam yourself, and if it's hits you can jail into your fastest high to start some offence, while that sounds cool the timing is very strict, and if you're off by even one frame you're just gonna get down 1'ed again cause they're mashing like crazy.

    MKX had down 1 mashers, but MKX had armor, good parries, super fast specials, their were detriments to mashing down 1, and MK9 down 1's were pretty weak, they had fast start up but their frame data was terrible (Kitana had the longest 6 frame down 1 in the game, but it was -1 on hit and -15 on block!), in MK11 they're fast, have little recovery, ARE SAFE! at -5, it's so dumb, and online just exacerbates the issue

    Still no Bayo 3 news though, I feel like I just hallucinated that teaser at this point and Bayo 3 never really existed, then again Platinum are currently working on 2 other titles so I guess its on the back burner

    Especially since Sega and Nintendo are also "involved" in the making of the game. We'll be hearing news about Bayo 3 soon but we might not hear anything about it this year. My guess is that once they're done with the 2 games they're making we can heavily expect some Bayon trailers and news.

    Saw it coming.

    As for Dragon Quest character, even though I think DQ is cool (due to having Akira Toriyama do the designs), it was a missed opportunity to add the main character from Chrono Trigger (also Akira Toriyama in designs and Square). Believe it or not, but Chrono Trigger did carry Nintendo massively in the past.

    I think DQ got in over Chrono trigger cause DQ is mad popular in Japan, like it has its own holiday kind of popular, dunno how they feel about chrono trigger though

    God and Monsters looks cool...until you see "From the creator of Assasins Creed Odyssey" and realize it's an open world game made by Ubisoft, and you know what that means -_-

    At least it isn't another AC game, thank god. Stuff started to get boring and not as good after Brotherhood (with the exception of Black Flag, also, Syndicate seems interesting for me).

    the design of MK11's wakeup system is backwards as phuc, im surprised more ppl aren't complaining about it

    It's an NRS game, people don't take it seriously competitively. You need a special mindset to really get into the games.

    I can handle NRS's wacky non conventional design, but design that's straight up counterintuitive? That sh1t drives me up the wall. In the case of this wake up system, a few button swaps would make it objectively better, but NRS done sold a jabillion copies at this point so why fix what's already raked in the dough. Guess I just gotta get used to it if i wanna play :/

    Sometime I have to press Up before I input roll, THEN it lets me. As a sorta no timing roll. Also, the fact that you should have a reversal in general not Flawless Block 2/3 and only wake up. Scrubs can mash me with particular buttons and that's annoying. I don't want to respect your lame ass, do a string online or something safe then mix between D3 or D2. I can backdash to punish the D2 but the D3>Backdash
