    He was spouting statistical data like he had a hand in every one specifically. He's an idiot taking back what he said, again. Trying to play every card in the book. It's insane what measures he'll take. Tried to tug at heartstrings with that cancer patient, the war vets and the holocaust survivor. I do agree, us hating him, is uniting us. We can't let him have 2020.

    I like the core fighting in Soul Calibur 6. I just can't stand meter breaking the pace. The meta etc Tekken does it right by only allowing supers at low health (I know they have it right away). Sometimes I forget how fast people get meter. Kinda kills the essence of a 3D fg to watch meter all day. Edge moves were funner to use than the, "Vtrigger" I want to be able to force 50/50s and meaty freely.

    Honestly, more than the SC/CE meter, it's the guard meter that works overtime to kill that game for me.

    I found that meter suited SCV very well since it felt like actual meter management (though GI's costing meter was a bit much IMO, forcing the use of JG's instead). But yes, I hate how meter usage in SCVI is basically just chucking out dumb soul charges, with the odd YOLO super here or there. Don't get me started on RE's either. Easily one of the dumbest mechanics ever in a FG (which naturally ruins the pace too).

    I feel like DOA6 will be like Tekken 7. Characters you never seen ppl play in previous games, will be played now bc of the mechanics allowing them to.

    Well, that will be until people find the cheap to use at a high level characters such as: Christie, Rachel, Helena, Phase-4, LeiFang, etc. However, I am interested to see how the tournament usage of characters shapes up in DOA6.

    I feel like 8/2 S negates Christite from being as top tier like in 5. 8/2 S changes the meta a lot.

    I was just using them as examples. The Top-Tiers in DOA6 will indeed be different, though Christie, Helena & LeiFang are still possible top tiers. The improved SS will be great against string heavy characters like Christie, Kasumi, Eliot and Kokoro for instance. However on the other hand, Christie & Kasumi also have a lot of tracking moves to deal with the new SS (which seems to get blown up hard to a good anti-step)

    Me and my friend have a differing opinion on what a causal is. He believes a causal can even be someone who understands frames. I believe a causal is someone who doesn't bother with anything technical in the slightest. Not even dojo.

    DOA is a friggin slapfest. Up until the fourth tournament (with the exception of DOA2) somebody slapped someone in every single tournament.

    A threat? Well technically yes. It is a Bioware game so there are people that will buy it. March 1st will be a fine, the biggest competitor though will be DMC5, which releases a week after DOA6.

    The announcement event of SFV arcade release is like celebrating that your car now has a cup holder after the 2nd model. DOA has all these great feats but no1 mentions anything except the tiddays

    Yeah, it's ironic too as most people once they hear it... don't even fight it and accept it. I mean, I was surprised DOA has a good female base on top of having a mostly gay community. But back to the main comment, it does suck but again, people do this ALOT to other fighting games and this isn't the first. I can list examples if you like.

    Seeing Sega broadcasts random causal ass game announcements as a VF player is the human equivalent of a dog waiting for its owner in front of the door to come home, except the owner is dead. I was't expecting a DoA6 tbh from what they said about the tournaments last time...and then they reminded themselves about the DLC that made them Richie Rich rich.

    Seriously tho..... I want to play the best, most balanced 3D fighting game of all time again please. They're probably tryna find a way to get newcomers into the game without meter and supers.

    Yeah that seems to be the thing that makes a 3D game, "Evolve" I don't know why that gimmick is overused now. I like how DoA5 did it as it;s a hit and you have to earn it through either bursting or crushinhg/whiff punishing. SC is kinda nuts, it isn't as spam'able like SC5 but they looked at Street Fighter again idky and said, hey, V triggers are cool.. even though, Capcom got the idea from killer instinct.
