    God I'm starting to miss Leon thinking about it now. He could have been improved for DOA6 to be given a real chance.

    Characters like Jann Lee are added based on status. He is a vet, a "classic" if you will. It's simply the way things are. A character doesn't necessarily have to check all of these boxes to warrant inclusion however. Honoka for one could be considered a waste, but she fills citera 1 and 5. Ein fills every box except 5 and arguably 3. Leon fills all boxes but 1 and 5 while we're there.

    Perhaps Ein "fundamental" play was a bit of a thin argument, however, his unique aspect is also as you said, his potential to bypass the stun game as a whole through whiff punishing, instant launches, wall splats and the environment. Again, certain characters can do this, but it's not what defines their playstyles. No one can do it in a way that he can. I agree with you on expanding on that, personally.

    I would agree on a roster cut myself. But I can't help but feel there's some bias there on my side too. Either way, I'm unconvinced that Leon provides any more value to the game than Ein would aside from a unique mechanic or "quirk". Which they could simply develop for Ein if they wanted to. At that point, we're back to square 1: story relevance which, realistically, is Leon's only advantage for inclusion over Ein.

    If they can flesh Raidou out better for 6 I will use him. He sucked butt in DOA5 and everyone knows it.

    Raidou's an odd duck, his kit has no synergy, his throws and holds create alot of space and he has some decent whiff punishers, so you think zoner/space controller, but his movement is butt so that's out the window. he's also covered in safe moves, but he doesn't really benefit from making himself -5 cause he has no mashable defensive moves (no high/mid parry, sabaki, or ridiculous crush, homie just has to block)

    if TN can just revamp his move set so that he has a more clear gameplan, that'd be great. heck they already did it with honoka. Her kit, like raidous', heavily borrows from other fighters but her moves actually make sense when you string them together. Raidou on the other hand is just a mish mash of moves that don't work too well together and in the end you have a character who's versatile but average

    I really hope they improve his movement for 6, his unorthodox gameplan was fine but his movement and limited move set is what annoyed me the most.

    The DOAX channel is actually really constructive and Team NINJA could learn a few things from replicating that Youtube style of keeping it all in one place instead of 4 or 5 different YT channels.

    They even have a separate twitter for it. Would be nice if they just shared DOA content off TN's page entirely rather than a separate DOA channel. On top of that, actual real life celebrities follow TN's page rather than the DOA one, so I still believe the exposure is a lot better on TN's official Twitter than a DOA one.
