    Yes! I'm looking at it now and it's still terrible like from DOA5 (although free-stepping can avoid slower linear moves now). Too much recovery to be practical. Meter management is going to be crazy for 1.05.

    Granted that I would of been neutral if meter cost for stepping was like 3-5% rather than a whole 25%, though using meter for a universal mechanic as a whole is sketchy when it's just going to condition people to abare more on block.

    Believe it or not, but I would of been generally alright if meter cost for a SSA was 5% or lower (despite the idea for using meter to step attack is silly).
    MK11 seems to have the same issues as DOA6 with gameplay mechanics but not nearly as bad. A few tweaks from NRS could fix it.

    Some rumors of a new Jet Set Radio in the works, if it's true then maybe theres hope for another VF (although, JSR is actually quite popular).
    In VF it feels like everyone can do the same thing but differently, which is way there is both variety and balance.

    Yeah, some characters have certain things to compensate. Like Kage gets extra bounds at the wall simply because he has no NH launchers. He needs CH or his forward grab, which is techable. Same with the reward for using Aoi's sabakis as her punishes on block are so-so too. Taka gets great yomi and you can't juggle him much. So, strings are NH on him due to his size.

    47 players so far for combo breaker, only really worried about Hoodless and BBoy; (slight maybe vs punishere's lei fang). I don't have much Nico experience.
    I hope Arya shanks Daenarys before this season of Game of Thrones is over.. she went over kill tonight >.>

    It's as if all the hardships she went through just went up in smoke. In a way, Daenarys was conflicted and was in fear of losing it all, but that stunt she pulled made her the very same issue that she wanted to fight against.

    Hated Cersei all season, but yeah Daenarys deserves to get her shit kicked in next episode. Holy shit.
    Been spending time recently more on MK11, just hard to come across consistent people to play in DOA. Generally when i'm on, lobbies are dead :(
    Marie Rose; she already has a difficult time opening people up imo and when she does the damage she gets is pretty wack. A little damage buff would be nice.
    Time to see whats all the Uniel hype is about since another blazblue canon game isn't coming out for some time. Plus I cant seem to find lobbies on DOA6 anymore. /Kappa
    finally saw End Game today, it was decent and the ending was meh, being drunk with friends made it better though lol.

    As a huge MCU fan....I absolutely hated both infinity war and end game.
    hm I wonder how long MK11 will last competitively? Seems gameplay wise some players feel like its a downgrade in terms of the movesets/new variations; you're pretty much doing the same one combo for some characters

    Probably the same as every other NRS MK? Basically until the bi-annual Injustice game gets announced. Though this may last less than MK10 if players get bored of it faster.

    I doubt it as I feel it can break the cycle and I think if they allowed custom variations the game will die faster.

    @Force_of_Nature hm im going to wait a few months to see what the perception is like. Neutral in the game is great but combo system and variations themselves are lackluster. Theres no “wow” factor
    Hmm the change to making SSA CH punishable for throws benefits grapplers more than anyone. Losing 117 points of damage to Lisa's shooting star press throw every time if the player can just frame it.
    Tina and Rig had some shit that definitely needed to be normalized, but was the nerf for Bass 4T into 6F+K nerf REALLY needed? Was it that annoying of a setup?

    Nah, it was an overraction nerf. Don't agree with it. Though by and large, I agree with majority of the balance adjustments.
    Mk11 story is well done as usual, was practically a movie. Fights transition well. The ending was a bit odd. Dabbled a bit in the krypt, seems huge and like its own separate story

    I wish DOA wrote 6’s story so well. Writing a good story has nothing to do with budget. DOA6 has too many plot holes and unanswered questions. It’s sad, honestly. I really hope the new director fix this.
    Game of thrones producers working on stars wars old republic trilogy. Hope we get to see Darth Revan on the big screens
