    Can anyone else just not fight with an analog stick to save their life and stays with the control pad besides me?

    I use Dpad, but Mai fucking forces me to use analog joystick with her dumb 9P jump and her cancels making her feel like she's all extra. I don't use it with Naotora or Kasumi, I use it with Marie Rose's sitdown stun attack, and I use it for some of ein's attacks. Stagger escaping is when I really use it but even then I'll mostly just not hold and I'll be OK against hi counter throws.

    Blaze taught me how to do that quick back step tech so since then ive changed my side stepping to command input and trying to get used to switching between the dpad for inputs and the analog for movement to. I just cant move right properly with the analog stick for some reason. @KasumiLover69 i thought i was just being bad when doing her 9jump lol kept coming out wrong for me a lot.

    All the more reason i hate petty fighting about small issues not affecting anyones lives at all. Its not safe at all where i live, plus with my current health im constantly reminded how tough real issues are.

    For some people only those types of small issues happen for them fortunately, but they make a fuss about it since it's a problem after all, when other people have it much worse than that.

    Hope they do another design contest next year so i can use some of my actual skills and try and make one. Didnt know i could enter to :eek:

    From what ive seen even the official character artwork isnt always spectacular lol, guess they care more about design, which i appreciate. I say go for it

    Sometimes. But standard matches don't garner much attention anymore. Most people find them stale at this rate, unless it's tournament footage.

    Thats why i try and and spice up my fights with a little editing to make em more fun to watch :) might take away some seriousness, but who cares long as its entertaining

    Just because he's selective about the matches he uploads to make himself look good doesn't mean he's consistently getting perfect victories. Last time I bumped into him it was 4-1 in my favor, and I'm garbage.

    Well of course, no ones perfect all the time, but being able to get so many is whats impressive. im actually friends with him on psn, just been putting off our matches cause we keep doing other stuff at night, was supposed to have some mirrors with miami to but we've been putting those off to :p

    I know Right I bet that BackTurnedLegend Cheats all the time, and never uploads his losses like alot if the other people in the community does (says a random person who no one cares about >_> ) aka doesn't even watch my channel lol

    What kind of lag is worse to fight in? Lag that freezes the fight constantly or lag that seriously delays button inputs?

    I myself and some others have been criticized for using 'boring combos'..? is going for optimal damage boring? I don't get it.

    Personally I don't have a problem with it. The people that complain about it most likely want you to use other, sub-optimal combos which deal less damage so they have a higher likelihood of winning the match.

    I find combos in games like Tekken & Marvel 3 to be very boring to look at because of how tunnel-visioned those games are, but DOA? Nah. DOA's probably one of funnest fighting games to watch when played competently.

    same, you just can't compare the differences between each DOA characters style of combo to those. Bayman slams you to the ground and ground throws you, Nyotengu takes you higher and higher then hits you hard when you come out of the juggle, Eliot does tons of small hits, christie dances all around while juggling you etc..

    There's no need to be indirect. I'm guilty as charged, and people in general give me crap when I play on stream anyway.

    That's why I have done everything in my power to stay away from stream chats (if not get too involved) for the last 4 years.

    Better for your health over-all i think, just staying away from toxic crowds, i stopped using chat rooms long ago cause (ugh) and rarely go into stream chats. Left cali-crush's stream when a lot of people came in and it stopped being so casual and turned into the typical 'tier, you dont know what you're talking about, name calling whiny blather'

    I feel like he just wasn't on his game at all that match, theres so many things Marie could've been doing but i wasn't seeing any of it. Rachels so boring to watch and linear to get around. And personaly not even good looking :p lol

    Bleh ive had it with her lol. its her face, just something so unlikable about it, and her attitude sucks, same reason i dont like christie. But shallowness aside, i think it was crazysteady? if they have a restream i'll have to look so i can be sure
