    exactly or even just make the costume menu also move horizontally for recolors... i just feel like in this day and age it's lazy. like it made sense a long time ago when there wasnt much for the games selection. like kasumi's main outfit and then her pink version or leifang having like 2 cheongsam dresses but now? nah that's what customization is for.

    I actually don't think the recolors-as-slots will be in the final release. That really feels like something they had as a placeholder before they revealed the customization options. And we all know one of the biggest things to change in a game's development cycle is the UI.

    Obviously, not right now, but would you be opposed to seeing the Virtua Fighters make a return to DOA? Different characters or the same but more? or a completely different set of guests this time?

    A bad guest character is someone like Yoda in SC, ruining great guest entries which people will most obviously use as a scapegoat such as "see this is why guest characters are bad" because Yoda blew it up for the good ones. On top that he was exclusive at one point which was even more of a waste (luckily exclusive characters are a thing of the past) but that is a perfect example of money wasted on a character.

    Yoda was even banned at tournaments because he was exclusive to one platform lul. Namco knows better now though.

    Yeah SPARTAN was a moment of Itagaki who was publicly horny of his philosophy with the Xbox because Microsoft had a slightly superior console, man was pretty aroused by it. Issue is guests being a one time thing but hey if Akira's gone, then he's gone lol happens.

    Honestly, I'm cool with it. Still adds more variety than DOA5LR. Furthermore do you want dumbass looking creations and giant dicks on the screen whenever you play online? Kind of appreciate that DOA gets away from that. DOA's Costumes look better than most FG's graphics anyway.

    idk... not having customization actually feels like a step backwards no matter which way you look at it. Ofc you'll have funny looking costumes but if that's the price i pay to actually be able to make cool outfits i want, then im cool with it. I'm not even asking for a Sims or Soul Cal level of customizing, i wanna be able to switch outfits or pieces of outfits on characters and a color wheel.

    I actually don't like fan-created outfits in a fighting game, it's too distracting. It's one thing when it's like an RPG or whatever because I don't have to rely on interpreting an opponent's appearance to play the game.

    DOA6 customization is great because it's varied enough that your characters can feel unique, but subdued enough that it's still all stuff that's designed by professionals and fits the character.

    this is probably a breakable object thing like others have said and not a wall thing but... even still, i dont like it. What's the point of removing slow escape if you're just gonna allow ppl to hold out of things they shouldn't be allowed to...

    No, its a wall thing. There was a Diego footage of him doing a string that ends up with a wall splat on the wall and not on a breakable object on the dino stage. Hope that they'll either remove holding out of that situation, or make break hold the only possible escape option or they'll remove this wallsplat altoghether.

    i can handle them allowing break holds off walls or fatal stuns, but not regular holds! they better changed that sh*t back! At least with allowing Break Holds you can bait them and get them to waste meter lol...

    Generally demos release around a month or so before release (occasionally it's 3-4+ months before release if a game had a particular demo prepared beforehand).

    no i agree, i just think this should been something that could've been released a bit sooner is all. And i do agree about being able to explore the game ourselves and maybe bring bad shit to attention that needs to be fixed or adjusted etc...

    tbh, i refuse to watch it bc it's like 700 eps... and yes, i know if you exclude filler it's like 300 but that's still too much. I'll stick with Death Note or Fullmetal, etc...

    There is no need to have the option for 3 & 4 way hold. Having 3 won't make the game easier bc anyone who takes DOA srsly plays 4Way.

    Idk the more I thought about it, the less I liked the idea of it even being an option. I just feel like even if it's for ppl who haven't been around, it just doesnt make sense for them to get 3 way only so that when they face ppl online it'll be 4 way. And I'm sure even most casual players who've been playing DOA over the years will choose what they're most familiar with IE 4way.

    I remember reading somewhere that they said the hold options were made to appeal to older players, which actually makes sense considering only 2 mainline doa games had 4 way holds as the standard
