    That also should not be a thing, nobody should be treated less because of their appearance. That’s why I treat everybody equally, no matter if someone is from a certain race, religion, sexuality, fat, skinny, old, young, you name it. The only type of people I refuse to respect are racists, homophobes and sexists.

    It's troubling to me that people use the word "respect" in such a broad, confusing way. Sometimes it means "deep reverence," sometimes it means "accommodation for differences," and sometimes it means "treat with common, inoffensive civility." All of those are wildly different things to me, and it makes conversations like these cyclically platitudinous.

    Well, the family of 3D fighters isn't very big though. The popular twins Tekken and Soul Calibur, who always stick together, and then the stepchild DOA. Its closest relative and ally, Virtua Fighter, is currently lying in a coma. :(

    I’m actually considering going back to DOA5. 6 has too much bullshittery for my taste. 6 was the game I was the most hyped for but now i’d rather play something else.

    I like 6 and yeah it's a mixed bag, as well as the game TN's supporting, so if people want to keep up with the times then they have to play 6. Some of the JPN players like Siologica and Terurock are not ultra fond of it either, Sio apparently is only playing it because everyone else is playing it, so they have no choice but to play it if they want to travel and compete for DOA I guess.

    It can really depend on what character(s) you want to play, as well. Tengu has a lot of quality-of-life improvements that make her more fun and engaging to play in 6 than in 5, but that's not the case for everyone.
    And, of course, if you're itching to play Leon/Akira, 6 is going to leave you unsatisfied.

    In terms of characters I’m somewhat satisfied since the 3 out of 4 mains I got are in 6 (Raidou, Kasumi and Mai). I would’ve enjoyed 6 more if Rachel and Momiji were a part of the cast. Oh well, in terms of gameplay I’m dissatisfied, I really dislike the S button overall, it’s very hard to react to breakblows and sidestep attacks. In 5 you could’ve held a CB, a PB and a PL. in 6 it’s almost impossible to hold a BB.

    2 more years and I can finally study medicine. I love nursing, but medicine is more up my alley.

    Indeed. It's a good career and a lot of people aim for PA school since its only 2 years compared to medical school which is 6 years. The downside is that you have less time to learn the material so it can be really stressful. I'm currently working as a managed account specialist at a financial institution. Finance is more up my alley.
