    I hope DOA gets a redemption arc in 2021, although that seems very unlikely. I just want to see the fighting series thrive.

    I doubt it. Shimbori said at the Roundtable meeting that they are taking a break now and given how people reacted to many of the issues that 6 had it might not be surprising if we're not getting an Ultimate version of 6 at all, then again, the dlc did sell this time too, so it also wouldn't be surprising if KT would like to milk more people out of their money with 6.

    Imo, they should not make an updated version of 6 or even a new DOA game for a while and remaster the older games as a trilogy (2U, 3 and 4 with online modes), this way they can give us some more DOA games to enjoy while they can think about the next step in order to hopefully knock it out of the park with 7 in a couple of years.

    a remaster is even more unlikely than a DOA6U or DOA7.

    But what does that have to do with Nioh? Nioh isn’t Ninja gaiden’s replacement as they are completely different games. Nioh was already in production for a very long time while Ninja gaiden was still thriving.

    I agree their twitter page is a secondhand embarrassment, but images can change if they actually try and want to change. TN sends a lot of mixed signals which is why they don’t get taken seriously.

    Nioh was in production by koei, so why they couldn't make on his own. Team Ninja can't be divided on good team and amateurs team. DOA6 is still made by Team Ninja. No official statements wasn't given about separation. Hayashi is still responsible for DOA also through, and credits have his name

    How can you tell what his expression is though under those glasses? lol. He always looks like that. Itagaki doesn't change facial expression. He also showed a pic of Hayashi afterwards who didn't look disappointed, lol. I don't know what his intention was, but I just found it funny. Even if that was Harada's intention, still funny, and true. I actually wish Harada would have been direct about it.

    No matter what fighting game there’s always people being loud with their character requests, but once that character makes it to the game and happens to be bad, nobody uses them.

    Sometimes the things people want aren’t always necessarily improving or better for the game. I think people should look at what the game needs instead of I want X, Y or Z character.

    @ChaolanLegacy Tiers don’t matter in DOA tbh, as a Raidou main I can guarantee that. I can still put up a fight against a Christie, a Kasumi or a Hayabusa.

    @Onryoki I main Ein in 5LR so I know and feel what you're talking about. There are a lot of games where even low-tiers can do well against top-tiers. Guilty Gear REV 2 comes to my mind as another example, even the bottom 5 can be pretty bullshit and has some dirty tech at disposal, they can definitely put up a fight too.

    Lolita from the novel was 12 years old, which is the name that loli/lolicon is derived from, so makes sense. Doesn't mean people who are attracted to young anime characters also like them in real life, and even then just because someone likes a character like Talim or MR means they want to boink them. That said, children should stay out of fighting game rosters because they are annoying.
